When was "your" Ascent cruise? We heard from folks currently aboard Ascent this week (11/28) that Select dining is being honored? Wonder if we got bad info, or your cruise was earlier. Guess I'll find out Sunday when I board...but just wondered if maybe that switch was unique to your sailing for some reason.

Outside of "diet" sodas, do they have other low-sugar mixers at the bars? (i.e. low-sugar/diet juice alternatives, sugar-free syrups, etc) Looking to enjoy some of the premium cocktails but without all that sugar!

Curious, how was the seating around the pool and solarium on sea days? Did the chairs fill up fast (and early?)

Thanks for the detailed followup....Question about dining room. Were you signed up as "anytime" when you made your cruise reservation? Are early/late assignments still honored? My reservation was for 6pm early sitting and was told by Celebrity online support last week that we would have a dedicated table in one MDR at 6 every night. Note: I cannot make any MDR reservations it states "Dining time already set". Just wondered if you had early or late assignment when you booked the cruise (or know of passengers that did) and whether you/they still had an assigned table, with the same staff in the same dining room. I understand we, or anyone, can opt go to other MDR rooms and get seated based on availability, just wanted clarification if the early/late seating assigned at booking, were honored. Thanks again for you great comments, especially the photos. Looking forward to our Feb 4th sailing!

Okay folks...I've heard from numerous sources (recent Ascent cruisers, current Ascent cruisers, cruise travel agent, and recently, Celebrity customer service)... all with differing views on the early/late or anytime dining options on ASCENT. Some claim that there is no early or late, every one is "anytime dining", period!...though I was assured by Celebrity, travel agent, and a recent passenger, that there is in fact, early dining, and that I do have the 6pm (early seating). For those of you who say, every one is now anytime dining, let me ask you a question: How did you find out? Did they make an announcement/notify all passengers with early/lat time? Did any of you make your reservation, with an early/late time, only to be told when you showed up, that there was no reservation? Are you able to use the Celebrity App to reserve times in any of the 4 MDRs? I can't; it says my time is all ready reserved! I do plan ask the maitre'd on embarkation, but trying to get some clarification of "what I'm seeing online" and why there seem to be so many variations on how its actually working onboard. Thanks in advance...

Thank you so much...btw...are there still early/late MDR dining reservations [reserved tables, same wait staff,etc] (other sites reporting that on Ascent [and all Edge class ships] that now everyone is "anytime" dining...and its first-come first serve with lines forming early)

Are the showers located in the spa available for gym users or only paying spa guests / AquaClass passengers? There have been conflicting posts from previous cruisers on other Edge-class ships (APEX, EDGE, BEYOND).
