Hi, we did a TA on Celebrity out of Southampton. We stayed in London for 2 days at one of the hotels Celebrity uses. They had a bus that picked us up to take us to the port. It was about 1 1/2 hour ride. Pretty easy. This was in 2010.

Speaking of spending time with aging parents, I am blessed to be able to go on the Freedom of the Seas on Friday to celebrate BOTH of my parents' 80th birthdays (Mom turned 80 in September and Dad turning 80 later this month) with all of my siblings and our husbands/wives and my Dad's sister. This will be a very special trip, even if only for 4 days.

@Seadog, I am very sorry for the loss of your two fur babies. I went through it last week. it is very hard but know that they are now together playing across the bridge, waiting to see you again someday. My parents had 2 tri colored Cavalier King Charles...Maggie is almost identical to their Chaps. Sweetest dog ever. 😪

We have a 3 night RCL cruise scheduled in November...a family reunion of sorts to celebrate each of my parents 80th birthday that happens this fall. Also have a 10 day Southern Caribbean on Princess the end of November. Will be awesome to get back to sea!
