We were on your cruise as well - 1st time on Crystal. And I agree - the concert at Ephesus was just amazing. We hesitated when we were booking it as it was extra $$. But wow was it worth it. Whole night was something I’ll never forget. I’ve enjoyed following your posts and comparisons. Everything spot on with our experience as well. Our only disappointment over the two weeks was our spa experience. Otherwise everything beat our expectations. We booked another cruise while on board but unfortunately that one has been changed so we will be cancelling. Not sure when we will book with Crystal next. Maybe for 2026. We did book with Viking for a small boat cruise in Asia. We compared the route/itinerary with Crystal and preferred the Viking one. We did cruise with Viking once before on the Danube. Always interesting to compare the different cruise lines, itineraries etc…..

Great article. We did our first Crystal cruise this year (Athens to Civitavecchia on Symphony) and 90% of it beat our expectations. We have already booked another for next year. Our only complaint was the Spa. Truly disappointing. I’ve heard they sub contract it with another company. My husband and I both shared our experience in our Crystal survey. Hoping things improve by next year and we can enjoy the spa on our sea days.
