  1. Thanks Bill. But we're not flying. We're driving down from Vero Beach that morning.
  2. We're leaving on Thursday, so all the weekend cruisers (over New Years in this case) will still have their cars there. Will that make a difference for us?
  3. Does the garage by the Holland America terminal at Port Everglades ever fill up? We are sailing this week. Is it an easy walk to the ships?
  4. Does the parking garage at the Holland America terminal ever fill up? Is it an easy walk to the ship from there?
  5. I always bring a stack of wire hangers from home and use every last one!
  6. Does anyone know the show times on the Koningsdam for their Caribbean itinerary this winter? Trying to plan dinner times.
  7. Are there “formal nights” on this itinerary? If so, which nights. We have a family group of 15 and would like to plan accordingly. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for all the replies. Our last few cruises were on small ships and there were no card rooms. We had to play in the dining room during off hours. So as long as there's a card room, we can find people, I'm sure. We're OK with casual party bridge instead of duplicate. But I'll bring bidding boxes! :-)
  9. Great. As long as there is a room, I can gather the people!
  10. Does Holland America offer organized bridge games, especially on days at sea?
  11. No, I didn't post a review. Ours was the first Tauck itinerary on the new ship (Panama Canal and Costa Rica) and the passengers were all Tauck guests. The staterooms were small, but perfectly laid out with plenty of storage. The only thing that was a surprise was that the balconies on deck three (which was the ideal location) had a solid half wall and not glass (plexi-glass?) so you couldn't see the water from a seated position. That was minor because all the outdoor space was so easily accessible. The only other comment I could make about the design of these new explorer Ponant ships, was that if it was on a cool weather itinerary, there wasn't a lot of indoor space for people to gather.
  12. Thank you! We have since sailed on her, and she is a wonderful ship with a great crew!
