My wife is a shopper and I have had a bad experience while using a credit cards in foreign ports. I think I remember seeing an ATM onboard Princess ships ?. Is this the best way to get more cash ? THANKS

If you order a drink with a drink package the tip is automatically included. Is this correct ? Also if you order a drink with the Medallion and the server walks a long way you should tip him additional and preferably in cash. Is this correct? Thanks

We sail on the Emerald on that date and I mentioned this same thing to my wife. She says I am getting anxious and jumping the gun and to wait another week. She is always right and she tells me so every day.

UPGRADE UPDATE : A week ago to day I placed a bid of 150pp on the minisuite and a bid of 350pp on the club class minisuite. Today I was notified that the bid on the regular minisuite had been accepted. We sail in four weeks. The whole bidding process only took one week.

UH OH , Sorry , I misread your post . Our email for our cruise sailing Nov.23 was for bidding offers.

Give it a few more days. We sail November 23rd and we got an email this morning.

Received the following offers for bidding on our 10 day Emerald cruise in November. We are currently in a premium balcony. Sorry , I have never figured out how to post photos on this forum. The following are lowest bids. Penthouse AFT $1205pp Penthouse $1155 pp Premium Suite $955 pp Vista Suite $ 905 pp Club Class Mini $190 pp Mini Suite $75 pp . I will probably bid on both minis.

During the weekend sale I booked a balcony cabin on the Soltice. The only two balconies left available were on the backside ( Stern side) of the hump deal. I tried but could not find any reviews of my cabin number 7288 on the cabin review thread on this forum. I have found that usually when cabins are the last booked they have flaws but I was willing to take a chance on the last day of the sale. Has anyone sailed in one of these ? Thanks

We actually witnessed a bloody adult fist fight in the main dining room on formal night ( 1994) on the Carnival Tropicale. It was the best entertainment onboard.

Celebrity. Its the little things like meeting you with a glass of wine when boarding ship. I have had Princess do the same but then hand me a bill when I did not have a drink package.

So if I were to upgrade from say a preminium balcony to an owners suite would I receive the same perks as any other suite guest and would I get to keep my current perks such as paid gratuties, drink package, and internet ? thanks

If everything runs smoothly on the previous sailings disembarkation maybe 45 minutes , but there are so many variables that its tough to give you a solid answer.

I have a cruise on the Ruby booked in February. It will be sailing out of Galveston.

Are there any quiet places to go on these ships while waiting for the cabins to be ready ? We dislike the loud buffet ? THANKS.

I am an old car guy but not a big Nascar fan. I have read that the Nascar fans are very loyal to the sponsors and actually buy those products.

We also live in Midlothian. ( Midlothian , Texas) and we are also doing a 10 day Panama Canal on the Emerald in November.

I received what they say is an upgrade from Princess. Its from a Balcony BD to a Balcony B2. I have never understood all of the lettering and numbering categories. I checked on the Princess website and the upgrade shows to be to a Preminum Balcony on a lower deck. Is this really an upgrade ? What are the drawbacks to these cabins ? Thanks

Yesterday we received an email that we had received an upgraded cabin. We were in a B2 Preminium Balcony on the Caribe Deck on the Emerald. The upgrade was to a B1 about three cabins down. The upgrade was neither better nor worst than the cabin we had booked . It was also a preminium balcony. My question is simply why would Princess do this ? It does not seem to serve a purpose . We are not upset just puzzled.
