  1. I think they were sayiong within 3 days after boarding. You don't have to do it before boarding, but you can't wait for a week or 2 to buy the upgrade
  2. You may or may not like malt, there is a lot of sugar in it. Personally, I don't llke malt. but many do. My housemate likes it. So give it a try.
  3. Jacques is still on Marina and Riviera, Are you talking about some change in the future?
  4. They started doing the online thing, not to dumb it down, but during the pandemic you didn't want large gatherings. There was a reason for it.
  5. I'd say dress for the weather. 40-60 weather is quite cool. You can take sweaters or shawls with you to the restaurants. pinotlover is right about that. But you can remove a sweater or a shawl if you get warm. In December/January, I wil start out in Miami and go down to Antarctica. I'm sure I will need all kinds of clothing, summer for the Carribean and winter for Antarctica
  6. All in the same cabin. fingers crossed
  7. Good to know, I'm doind a Grand Voyage on the Marina in December/January. 50 days total. Hoping we don't have to do many muster drills
  8. It really isn't the when, I enjoy a margarita nor 2 and that isn't included in the regular bev package, only in the upgrade
  9. Interesting, The person that I'm traveling with doesn't drink much if at all. I asked my TA about upgrading the drink package only for me, and O told her that we would both have to upgrade. I think sometimes it depends on who at O you talk to. Will try back another day
  10. Is Privee booked for that night? It does cost extra, but it is a private room with great service. Just a suggestion.
  11. True, but could be a last minute booking, figured it was best to include that
  12. They serve wine by the glass with simply more and beer at lunch amd dinner
  13. I remember when I was 16 beomg pulled out of line in Greece and going through a patdown. I was very confused.
  14. I saw t6his on your link: All upper suites will be reimagined with a revamped look, to become lighter, brighter and seemingly even more spacious thanks to cleverly designed new features. So ity isn'y just the PH suites
  15. That is good to hear, have reservations in the Elser in December. Thanks
  16. As long as you keep it in the cabin. I don't think you can take a bottle in public spaces.
  17. From what I understand, the Laundry is free for you to do as self service. O) even provides the soap. My past cruises have only been about 10 days, but I am going for it in December/January for 50 days, so I asked the laundry question. My cruise is a "Grand Cruise" and you could take it as 3 separate cruises, and my TA says that we get the amenities 3x, for example the laundry. You get 3 bags of 20 items in each bag, but we get that 3x. Like I said, you can do your laundry as self service too. for 42 days for you and 50 for me, I'm sure I will do a few loads myself.
  18. I was too, but had to call my TA ands ask her about it. I gueszs I could have called O directly, but my TA handled it. I think it is thre usual bad O website, you dont get it unless you ask
  19. Yes in the Main Dining room. Yes in Red Ginger and Jacques. Not sure in Toscana and Polo, Ask when you board.
  20. The person with the higher cabin can control the reservations. For example, I have a suite, and I was able to make reserations with my friends now. Friends can't make reservations until October, 60 days prior. Their reservation had to be paid in full before I could include them on my reservation, but I could do it now.
  21. I think she said it was on another cruise line
  22. You are correct, I read the original post incorrectly
  23. You aren't outside your time, I think yopur time gors up until 7 days before you sail. You can ask to dine with another booked party too.
