Have the HIL package.  Since it will only allow one device to be connected at a time I’m wondering what the charge is to add another device so both of us can be connected at the same time.

If you have the Have It All HAL requires you to both have that package so therefore both of you would have the wifi I think?

I found a workaround.  I actually managed to book my 4 Pinnacle reservations on the Navigator app-which I was shocked about.  Even that was not easy, but it got the job done.  I was glad that I did not book the Tamarind taste as they have cut the menu to bits and offer about 4 entrees.  I was thinking about booking a Pinnacle lunch, and the one entree I always wanted to get, the lobster mac and cheese, is off the menu.  The Pinnacle lunch menu is very, very beef heavy and did not tempt me at all.

When I look at the Tamarind menu on the Navigator app I see the normal 9 offerings for mains and 5 different sides.

  3. The excursions and the dinners get moved from your prepaid to reimbursable OBC and then if it is not used during the cruise it goes back to the credit card that was used to purchase the excursions and dinners.  I did this in Octo on the Eurodam

As of this post, the website seems to work. I was able to log in from the home page and view my booked cruise.

As a retired software developer, there is a significant level of complexity in building and app and/or website. There are often bugs upon launch that even get through testing.

However...significant pieces of the website, ones right out front, did not work and should have been found before launch. Fortunately for us customers, these bugs and probably others were squashed over the weekend.

Yes - I could not even log on last week but this week all is good with my account - good thing since we board the Rotterdam Jan 14 so I will need to print out my boarding pass when the bar code is added.

    Look again. Please!

I recently cleared a wait list for an excursion on my next cruise. I found the same things when I went in to book it and pay for it. There was no way that I could find or make the purchase work.
Then, after I closed out and decided to try again, I spotted that there was something in my cart! It was the waitlisted shore excursion just sitting there quietly waiting for me to purchase. I hadn't seen it the first time.

Go on back and see if yours is in your cart.

I caught that same thing last week on a tour where I was emailed that I had cleared the wait list.

    Hi all,

I’m looking for advice/information on the topic of On Board Credits. My hubby and I booked a cruise with a $600 room credit as a perk. Add in the FCC perk of $150 and we have a total  $750 in credits. Problem is we Have it All and Crew Appreciation is included. I have been led to believe it’s a use it or loose it scenario.
    It’s a three week cruise.
If we don’t prebook specialty dining or excursions (above our three free) pre-cruise I’m afraid we will never get the date/time for dining or excursion we want. Do you know if we prebook is there a way to get the OBC credits applied somehow towards it leaving refundable credits on our account? Not sure if my question makes sense but any info would be amazing, What’s your experience been?
Am I gonna have to book things I don’t want to use them up? Thanks in advance everyone 🤗

Yes - I did this on the Eurodam in October but it took a couple visits to Guest services to get it correct.  You can also do this with excursions - pay for them with cc card then get it transferred to OBC and the amount you put on the CC card shows up as refundable credit on your account.

Other than Half Moon Cay, which is by tender, the only other port we've done so far is Curacao. I didn't notice any there but there could have been; we docked pretty close to town. Of course it isn't close for scooters! The ship tour buses do come up close to the ship. Our tour was private so we just exited the security gate and waited by the side of the road. Lots of taxis there. There are some shopping tents right off the ship.

Right now we are in Gatun Lake, and they are calling the ship tours one by one. Cannot do private ones from here.

Interesting - so it appears they have restarted doing the excursions in Panama.  2 weeks ago they stopped doing excursions because of protests stopping traffic.

The ship will take your order and charge your Account, if you want it shipped it is shipped out of Miami. Flat rate regardless how much you buy. To one Address

Thanks - that is good to know.  We have looked the flower vases several times but I would require bring a piece of luggage to get them back home.

You could buy Vases for Christmas on the ship and have them shipped home.

Gail/Marty - will the ship pack and mail these home?  I never asked them but that would be great since we have some OBC but we have to fly home and that would be a luggage issue.  Thanks.

Version 4.33.0 is now available for iPhone and Android.

To find your current version press "Experiences" in the center bottom banner with the ship and then press "about".

    Version 4.33

We've freshened things up with some design updates. You'll notice an updated look and feel. We've also made bug fixes below deck to make your experience even better.

I don't see anything obvious that changed on the page and selections..

I am doing a B2B2B on the Rotterdam in March. I understand that in FLL I can get an "in transit" card and leave the ship early to run a couple of errands. I have two questions for those of you who have done a B2B in FLL:

    1. When I am ready to reboard do I need to wait until the ship is 0'd out before I can reboard?

    2. Assuming I wait until the ship has 0'd out but the new boarding passengers are not yet being allowed to board just what is my procedure when I get back to the terminal?

    TIA

From what I recall if you leave the ship to run some errands they normally say you can't return to the ship until 1100 but with your in transit card you can just bypass the lines and get on the ship.

  12. QR - thanks for bringing us along on the cruise - we are boarding on Jan 14 for 42 days.  In one of your early photos you showed a rack with the tea bags.  In Jan/Feb 2023 on the Rotterdam I remember a large tea bag rack attached to the wall in the aft end of the lido on both sides - is that still there?  In October on the Eurodam they had Bigelow Lemon Lift tea which is my favorite and hoped they would have in on the Rotterdam.  Please keep on reporting.  Wondering who is the current Master of the Vessel (may Timbers) and if you could post what shows are on the World Stage.  Thanks again for your reporting and photos.

Thank you to everyone who posted on how to get the Shareholder OBC. I requested mine via email and got a confirmation from them that they have successfully applied the OBC to my cruise. Now, where in my HAL account or cruise itinerary do I find the money?

I have my TA send me a new confirmation and it shows up on there.

Why does/did HAL give you FCC/$$$ if you are sick?

Is that only if it is the "special" banner of Covid?  What about folks that get the flu, Montezuma's revenge, break their foot, etc.....Do they hand out $$$ for that too?

Not understanding compensation for Covid or is it anytime you are confined to your stateroom?

It was because I was confined to my cabin for about 40 hours when the Covid test showed positive.  I think this was a follow on from the policy that they put in place after the pause to get guests back on the ships.

  15. On the Eurodam in October I had congestion and a bad cough so went to medical.  They did the Antigen test and it was negative and gave me meds.  3 days later still coughing so went back - they did a PCR test and I was positive.  I was confined to cabin that evening, and the next day. They came to the cabin the morning of the following day with the Antigen test and I was negative so I was free to go.  I was charge $38 for one test and also received $168 FCC.
