Scroll down to see a list of previous versions. Select the one most recently dated when you know the app was working for you.

I am a dummy when it comes to phones and files.  If I download the file to my phone how do I install it on my phone since I am not getting it from the play store?  Thanks so much for your assistance.

My phone model is similar to yours  - Note9 running Android  10. Navigator App had been working just fine until 2 days before I departed for my current cruise. I uninstalled it & tried to reinstall new version only learn it's not compatible with my phone.

So I reinstalled the previous version; it has been working fine onboard during this cruise.

How/where do you find the previous version?

  3. I am just off the Eurodam last Saturday and my Navigator app worked fine but  is now not letting me log in at all.  I have 5 cruises booked.  I logged out but now when I try to log in it says "Failed to fetch".  I am using Galaxy S9 and Android 10.   Is anyone else having an issue with Android and Navigator?

  4. We have been on the Eurodam for the last 12 days and all is good.  The food has been good everywhere.  The gym is in excellent condition with what appears to me newer machines.  We do not use any of the other spa services.   Crew is great as usual - the Capt Vincent Engel is very visible around the ship as well as Yelena the Hotel director and the recently on board Jordan the CTD.  We are booked to be back on the Eurodam for Jan/Feb 2025 for 42 days and not concerned at all.

You can use them both on the same cruise but it will only apply to the first cruise with the b2b. Also, just know you may not get them with the casino rate.

If the B2B are on different booking numbers you will get both benefits on both cruises.  We have gotten both on our 3 upcoming B2B cruises that are on different booking numbers.

Spoke with a HAL rep in Ship Services today about a 14-night cruise in October.

Prepay is only available for Premium service at $207.99 for a 1-device plan for a 14-night cruise. That works out to about $15 per day.  There is no prepay Surf package. If we wait until we get onboard, a Surf package for the entire cruise will be $209.99.

How/where did you find out the price of the Surf package when purchasing on board?  When I called ships services they told me they did not have that information.

There was a thread months ago about the big jump in prices from the internet table that was popular here on CC.  Until we can hear reports back  from those onboard, the link is all that is available for the latest pricing.

I started another thread asking people currently on board the pricing.  At a minimum I will post the pricing when I board later this month.

  8. I realize that purchasing the premium wifi plan ahead of boarding it cheaper than purchasing it on board but we have a lot of ship board credit and would like to compare the pricing.  We have a 7 day and a 21 day back to back on the Eurodam starting in about 3 weeks.   On the HAL site it shows if I purchase premium wifi on board the price is $34.99 per day however when I have purchased this plan on board in the past I know when purchasing it for a entire cruise it was much less than that.  So I am looking for any of our cruise critic folks recently or currently on board a DAM ship that can tell me the price of the premium wifi for a 7 day and 21 day cruise when purchased on board.  I called the ship services phone number but they told me that they did not have access to that information.  They did tell me that I could purchase the plan ahead of time and then when on board I could have the charge transferred to my on board account and my credit card would be refunded.  Not sure that is true - has anyone tried that and did it work?  Thanks for any and all information on this topic.

Here is the link for onboard pricing:  Internet Pricing

When I click that link it only gives be the price if I purchase it a day at a time.  From our cruise back in Nov 22 which was 14 days I purchased the premium package on board for $139.99 but I think that included my 5 Star $30 discount so the full price may have been $169.99 or about $12 per day.

Current prices are $29.99/day Surf Plan and $34.99/day Premium Plan if purchased onboard

Here are prices for several Premium Plans bought before the cruise:

    • 7-Days $127.99 (one device) and $183.99 (four devices on same account)
    • 9-Days $155.99 (one device) and $227.99 (four devices on same account)
    • 11-Days $179.99 (one device) and $267.99 (four devices on same account)
    • 14-Days $267.99 (one device) and $319.99 (four devices on same account)
    • 15-Days $223.99 (one device) and $343.99 (four devices on same account)
    • 17-Days $251.99 (one device) and $389.99 (four devices on same account)

It is certain that buying before you cruise is very cost effective.

Do you know if this is for all ships?  I understand that some of the ships now have the STARLINK system operational so wondering if the pricing on those ships is more? We are doing a 21 day on the Eurodam and the premium plan purchased ahead is $291.99 for 21 to 25 days.   Our issue is that we have lots of ship board credit to use so if I purchase before leaving the price is lower but we can't use the ship board credit to pay for it.  Does anyone have the pricing for the premium plan for 21 days if purchased when on board - would like to see that price.

  11. It is actually $2500 worth per month per person.  We can purchase $2500 for myself and my wife for $5000 each month.  We pay for our October cruise totally with AARP gift cards and I already have enough to pay for our Jan/Feb 42 days of cruising.  Great benefit.

There are some casual restaurants in Pacific Place center (Pike Place Chowder) and also Westlake Center.  The cafe in Nordstrom’s is also very good.  If you like Italian.  In post alley near Pike Place Market..  The Pink Door- make a reservation to eat there.

Thanks for all the good information.

  13. We are booked for the Sept 30 Eurodam final 7 day of the season (then staying on board during the reposition to FLL).  We normally book our own hotel and transfers but decided for ease to use HAL this time.  We are flying in 2 days early arriving about 9 pm on Sept 28.  Our documents say they are putting us up at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel.  From what our TA said it is the Sheraton Grand Hotel at 6th and Pike St.  This summer has anyone used HAL for lodging and was this where the put you up?  If so, how was it and are there any good restaurants near by at a reasonable price?  Any information is appreciated.

HELP please! No matter what browser or equipment I am using, I cannot get the AARP HAL gift card purchase to go through.

I get a message that an error occurred & it can't be completed. Has a note to call AARP w/a phone number.

Of course, AARP could not provide assistance and said they would "send it up..."

My bank doesn't see the transactions have even been attempted  - they say the transaction is not even making it to Visa.

I've read numerous posts on the AARP site from users w/same issue going back to at least early last year.

I've used both Android & Apple phone, laptop & tablet - no go.

Used Chrome, Edge, Safari & Silk - no go.

I've turned pop up blockers off, tried w/it on - no go.

Used incognito mode - no go.

Manually entered payment details & also tried letting it auto populate - no go.

Used MC, Visa and PayPal  - no go.

Tried to buy as few as 1, as many as 3; as little as $100, as much as $500 - no go.

I've tried at 2am and 2pm and many times in between - no go.

They do show to be available and at the top is the message I've purchased 0 of 5.

What did I not try? What is the trick? What am I missing. All help and suggestions are appreciated.

I use Chrome and it works fine.  On the first purchase it was flagged as possible fraud by my credit card company but ever since it works fine.  Just purchased $2500 worth this week.

Thanks all, it worked for me this morning. The screen looked different. I think I just needed to log out then log back in.

Now I need to figure out how to use these to make payment when booking a cruise using an online travel agent currently providing the best deal on a Dec cruise. I'll start working on this and report back, but if you have hints or know this isn't possible, your input is appreciated.

I send my TA a spread sheet listing the card numbers and PINs.  He makes the payment.  Easy
