I have been trying to book specialty restaurant and show reservations for 3 days now. I keep getting an error message "We've encountered an error. Please log out and try again later." Everything is good until I click on the "* I agree to the terms & conditions." Then click on "add to itinerary" then it is added to my cart but when I go to my cart and click on "go to payment" I get the above error code. What am I doing wrong???

Thanks they got them!!!! Had number 4 to board listened to me for a change lol and ran down and got them. They were in the fron of the line said the line is really long now. So happy for them!

I ordered mine from Amazon, $11 for 8. I received them the other day....I like them :)

It's a 20 oz bottle of COKE in the terminal versus a 12 oz can of Pepsi on board. Better value and also appeases those that enjoy their Coke.

Anyone know if there are soda vending machine in the Miami port? We will be on the Getaway.

You can buy water and Coke products from the vending machine in the cruise terminal and put them in your carryon. There are no bag checks between there and your cabin. I did it last week. Only needed one bottle of water as the ship's water was fine to refill it as needed. I threw a couple of Diet Cokes in for good measure.

Do they card you in the Ice Bar? My son is 22 but his girlfriend is 20.

We have done the ice bar before so me and my husband with not be with them when they go in.

We are on the very first sailing to hit HC and are pretty damn excited. Have the flight house and a large cabana booked.

Please come back and tell us how the flight house was. Thinking of booking it for our 22 yr son. Also thinking of booking the pool cabana.

Thought about booking a pool cabana but there are three of us (all adults). Description says for 2.:(

We have rented a cabana twice and both times the biggest issue we had was not getting the correct key for the cabana door :p

Miami. It has always been on Carnival, which always got into port very early.

Does NCL get in early also. I was going to book SAS which I have used in the past also. They say they have shuttles at the port at 6:00 am.

I'm on the Getaway March 12th (Sunday) Miami. Can I make a 11:10 flight out of FLL?

I have an idea.

 

If we do purchase bottled water from NCL, they should put a sticker on each bottle so we can take them off the ship during excursions. If we return to the ship with unopen bottles of water bought from NCL, they won't be confiscated with the special sticker.

We were in 13290. It was aft on the port side. The bathroom had only one sink, and a lot of counter space. The shower was a stand up with glass doors, no tub.

 

The comedy shows were just regular stand up comedians. Howl at the Moon was a lot more improv style.

I have an angle balcony booked for my March cruise on deck 13.

What cabin did you have? Did your cabin have a full size bathroom, two sinks and full tub with shower?

I was on the Breakaway and they had "improv" comedy, not a fan of it. By your review it looks like the Getaway has regular comedians and not improv, correct?

Last time I was there Sept 2014. I had Cheers on my Sign and Sail card and at the Pirate Bar they let me use my Cheers on my first drink then the second drink a different bartender said they don't use Cheers. But they used my Sign and Sail card for all of it.

Good to know. We have been to HMC three times and when we had booked this cruise we were going to HMC (one of the main reasons we booked it). Then they changed to Amber Cove. It is nice to go to a different port but I sure did miss HMC and my cabana :D

Does anyone know if the bar/restaurant at Amber Cove port takes the sign and sail card for payment (like HMC) or if you need to bring cash/credit card? Thanks!

I don't know for sure but don't think they take the sign and sail card. When did HMC start accepting the sign and sail card?

How long would you say the pier is? Walkable? How much did you give the pedicab driver? Thanks!

Pier is 1280 feet. We did not use the pedicab.

I did hear someone ask the the driver how much and the driver said whatever he want to pay.

As soon as you get to the end of the pier the pool is to the right.

Yes, I would recommend this excursion to see some of the island. As I mentioned in my review we had never been to DR so I wanted to see more than just the port.
