We prefer to arrive at 1:00 PM, no lines and no wait to get into room.
Same here:cool:

Per RCI website:
"This service is available in these selected ports:
- Fort Lauderdale
- Port Canaveral
and on these selected airlines:
- American
- Delta
- United
- US Airways
- Jet Blue
- Southwest Airlines"
We have never been able to utilize this perk: Either coming off of a transatlantic cruise, or not into one of the two ports listed.
Bummer as reviews of this service are all positive!!
- Fort Lauderdale

Was there a charge for the food items at Cafe Latte-tudes?
Thanks-following with interest as we will be on the Brilliance next month😎

“…It asked what I valued most in web & phone interactionstoo...”
They should have a fully functioning and user-friendly website before they ask such a question.
Just sayin’……;)

I think he was "genuinely pretty surprised" that you had the email confirmation to prove you had MTD reservations:cool:
Good for you and, unfortunately, a lesson in what everyone may need to do in the future....

And I thought the question was about taking champagne [emoji898]!
60 cruises and I’ve never seen any “bubbles” [emoji848]

Looks like 115 cabins were added, possibly adding 230+ more pax based on double occupancy.
When we were on her several years ago, the food and service were abysmal-so much so that we ate only in the WJ or specialty restaurants. A turn over in staff or even ineffective management (Hotel Director, F&B Manager, etc.) on the ship can make huge differences on the cruise experience.
Go on with an open mind, that can make all the difference!

On the 12 or so TAs we have taken, we have never been able to use luggage valet.:loudcry:

We had a power outage on the Vision TA in 2015.
We were up in the nightclub when everything went out, it was so eerily quiet with only the emergency lighting and people quietly chitchatting.
We sat there for just a few minutes to see if the power would come back but it didn’t so left for our cabins. By the time we got there power was restored and all was well.
It was late at night with most people in bed so not many people even realised the power had gone out.
We were on this TA cruise as well in 2015. Happened just out of Gibralter.
We were alseep in our suite (RS) and all the lights in the cabin came on. Unsettling to say the least. Called down to GS, were told that they were working on one of the generators and had to shut them off to do this(?)
We were adrift in pretty rough weather getting bounced around for awhile. Power was out for about 45-min to 1 hour, if I remember correctly. We felt a little uncomfortable just going back to sleep, so we got dressed and walked around the ship to get a feel for the mood and the situation. Luckily, all ended well. Still, strange, have never experienced that on any other RCI ship in 15+ years of sailing with them....

Loved the pics! Brought back memories of our cruise in 1320, the OS next door.
In which port did you debark? We have never had the letter stating to show your suite sail pass for expedited customs clearance so just curious if this is new thing or just at certain ports??
Thanks

We usually send out several items to be pressed at the start of the cruise. Not expensive in the scheme of things. If we can spend $12-$15 per drink, pressing is not bad at all!

Are there any nutrient-rich liquid supplements she could bring, so that she's assured of getting the calories/nutrients she needs? I'm sure, once you're ON the ship, you will fall into a routine for meals, but just in case....
Was thinking the same thing.
Something along the lines of Ensure or ??
There are several to fit many/most food allergies as well. Should be something that could substitute for a meal if necessary.....
Can't believe that special needs couldn't accommodate:confused:.
Wishing you all the best of luck!

The cruise on 4/17 Sydney to Honolulu is showing sold out as well....
Truly sorry:loudcry:

If your confirmation was/is Nonrefundable and you make change to different sailing, even before final payment you still have to pay $100 per person. If that's what you saying you did...
Not if the original cruise was booked in April of 2017, which was before the NRD began.....

That appears to be true. Yet, there does need to be better consistency across the fleet. That's not to say that the crew on each ship must be robots. But, a certain level of cleanliness, friendliness, service and food should be found of every ship.
I don't like getting on a ship in a few days and wondering whether our cabin steward will be missing most of the time or our wait staff slow as molasses. We should be able to expect at least a minimum level of quality on every ship.
Agreed!;)

As to whether the suites are worth it: we are not Diamond level (yet, hopefully someday) so for us the extras that you get with a suite are worth it, to a certain price point. If the suites are too expensive then no we don’t feel they are worth it.
I guess it just depends on how much you are willing to pay and what you feel is worth that cost.
I must admit it is hard to go back to a balcony cabin. That concierge escort off the ship on the last morning past all of the lines is ALMOST worth any price. LOL!
Have a wonderful cruise!
Wow! On what ships and itineraries have you been traveling?
We have had this perk as suite guests ONCE, and that was an accommodation by the Hotel Director in response to a complaint about another matter.
Last cruise we sat in the specialty restaurant while others in the theater and other areas were called to get off.
Wonderful perk!!

Sue,
you had me at the pic of the onion rings at Shulas....:D

Was finally able to access using the already booked and online check in links.
However, now it says I need to enter all of my cruise info, Passport, credit card info ,etc, which I thought I had already done:confused:
My cruise is 6 months out. Do I need to wait until <90 days out to enter this stuff? I thought I could do it right after booking the cruise.
Help:o
Thanks!

Is anyone, other than me having issues with the new website changes. Had trouble logging in and now they don't recognize my member number (diamond), and lists me as pre-gold, what ever that is. Call RCL and tech support just said not to use website. Said they are having problems with it. Thankfully I don't leave for this cruise till next Monday, but have another one on April 1 that I need to fill out info for. Told me they hope to have it fixed within 72 hours.
Is that earth hours?:D

The new site doesn't recognize user names that aren't email addresses. If you click on "forgot password" and use an email address, you will then get a link via your email to set up a new password which has to be 8 characters, including one number and one upper case. It worked for me, but be aware, you may have to add in cruises, your C&A number and can't access everything yet.
Did that with spouses account. Worked great!
Any idea what to do if you had 2 C&A accounts with the same email address?
Sorry, just set up new account with 2nd email address. Had to add C&A number, but both my upcoming cruises were there. States that it will take 24 hours to merge C&A account info. Fingers crossed!!

I was able to do the same with spouse's acct, but on my account I couldn't even log into?? Got error message:
"We're unable to complete your request, so please try again later."
So scary that these people have some of our personal data-who's guarding the files:rolleyes:
Funny? :rolleyes::rolleyes::confused::confused:
Tried to access spouse's account and now receive new error message:
"invalid email and password combination."
Never used an email, used a username.
I give up doing this crap online. Will call in to RCI next week. No offense, (except to me & others?), but my time is more valuably spent not doing this "chase my a**" exercise on the RCI website.
Have a great weekend everyone!!:)

I logged in with my prior user ID and password. I was redirected to create a new password and update my info. Then I entered my CA number and it updated my account. It was easy and took less than 5 mins.

And do all your stuff standing or sitting at solarium bar? And in the pool? Who wants to see overweight, bearded men, with tiny feathered hats, stand in a circle, arms around each other, kissing and groping?
Live and let live, huh?
So, it would be OK for overweight, bearded men with tiny Speedos with arms around similar women, similarly dressed kissing and groping??
Excessive, inappropriate PDA is excessive, inappropriate PDA regardless of who's doing it.
Unfortunately, I've witnessed many episodes of excessive, inappropriate PDA on many cruises, however, since it was between men and women, I didn't see any posts complaining of it.
After all, it was their vacation, that they had paid for. Who are we to tel them what they can and can't do? And what they can and can't wear to the MDR....... :D;)
Ensure any Compensation credit is refunded
in Royal Caribbean International

We have been in this position a couple of times. However there were a couple of points that determined a favorable outcome.
1. We cancelled a cruise for the two of us inadvance when we knew we were unable to travel. We got a doctors letter to back it up for insurance claim and refund AND for number 2.
2. We pleaded our case to Royal and got the time limit onthe 2 FFC extended twice! They wanted a doctors note and since we had seen the doctor we had it ready to send to RCI.
We never would have applied for a refund of the FCC in cash! It was, after all a Future Cruise CREDIT!
Karma is a real thing-we have been cruising with RCI for more than a decade, and unless something untowardly occurs, will continue to do so in the future.
The OP not cruising any more with RCI will not affect them in the slightest-just look ar thier stock prices and the increasesin thier cruise fares. Doesn’t look like they are hurting.
Happy cruising on RCI or the cruiseline of your choice!!
Oh, and the FCC was used to reduce the cruise price not to use as OBC-FYI
