  1. I know you may be a little disappointed with the change from the breeze to the splendor but the splendor is a great ship as well. I was just on this ship before it left jersey I was 18 and I had a great time I made a lot of friends and we always found things to do. I know it dosent have all the bells and whistles but it won't let you down either if you do stay with it.

     

    I could have stayed with the Splendor as your right no bells and whistles but still a cruise however they did not do any kind of price adjustment , so we are giving up a lot to get less for same money .

I have not received my email yet giving me my new room, however it came up on manage my cruise , I booked the long balcony on the breeze but on the splendor they assigned me two up from that room in a regular size balcony, same price and they did not add the OBC .. I am going to cancel it but thought I would wait until closer till the ten days is up .right now I am so confused and do not want to do something harsh and then be even more mad at myself . I just do not know why they did not put me in the long balcony on the splendor obviously no one has it booed yet .

  3. I was also affected by this. Got my new booking info today. Went from a cove balcony to an 8A on deck six and price only dropped $10 PP. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I don't want to sail the splendor but I also don't want to do a 7 day out of Texas in order to sail on the Breeze. Sigh. I also have the Vista repo booked so I have to decide if I can live with the date changes there also.

     

    I have not received my new booking yet how did they do this just assign you a new room with the difference in price . I called Carnival yesterday after getting the email but they said until I get my new booking they can not help me , I want a certain room, I do not want that taken while they are trying to decide who is staying and who is going

  4. I booked it less then 24 hours before I received the email, I booked in advance in order to have a certain room , it said they would try and give the same room, should I call or wait for my room assignment which will come in a week the note said ., however I only have 10 tens to cancel .

  5. This happened to me a few years ago on the Dream on a back to back, and I went down the first week, and told them, and they said no problem they would take care of it, however they did not... I had to go back a few times to keep insisting that I was platinum the second week, but finally they agreed and said the computer had not picked up I was there the week before .

     

    so keep going back if you do not get your platinum card .

  6. my family had FTTF last year and I was platinum , and they did have the orange tags and had there luggage way before me I got mine after dinner go figure hit or miss in Baltimore going again next week and they are fftf again and I am platinum so we will see if things got any better

My mom passed away four days before I was leaving on a back t back and Travel Guard was awesome , and so was Carnival I had pre paid all my tips and never even called them to ask what happens with that and within 30 days of sending all my paperwork to travel Guard I had received all my money back including my tips taxes and port charges from Carnival.

I reached platinum status the second week of my BtoB and went down to guest services the first week to tell them, they told me I was all set and no worries, however I was very disappointed when the next week they did not give me my platinum card , , they told me to come back when it was not too busy , that took 5 times of going back until they were not busy .you wait so long and build up the excitement and within seconds your heart drops, the problem was the computer was not picking up I was there the first week .
