Wow, some interesting experiences for sure!  And very different.  But ok...I guess it's a "wait and see" type thing, lol.  We aren't supposed to board until 1:30 but that will make my daughter very late for work after the dropoff.  Oh well, this should be interesting! lol

Red Devil here (Lakewood) Call C&A  Diamond they may help change the time. Long time since i saw your last post. Have a great cruise.

Yes, we had rented a scooter from specialneedsatsea.com for $235 for 7 day cruise out of Bayonne on 8.28

Price is much better than scootaround and the service was terrific.

They will leave the scooter in your cabin.

If you need wheelchair assistance to get into the terminal ask one of the port workers at front door.

Then once inside the terminal and through security go to your far left and they can transfer you to a royal caribbean chair that a crew member will push for you to board the ship.

Rooms are ready around 1 pm so if you check in around 1 or after they can take you to your cabin on the wheelchair.

If you check in early, we did 11 am and went to lunch.  Then at 1 pm I went to cabin and rode the scooter to where my hubby was waiting.

When cruise was over we met with wheelchair assistance group, make reservation with guest services for your departure time.   And we left the scooter on the promenade deck with other scooters.

    Worked great!

Point is that there are no 9 day cruises departing in October which is what Ashland needs. There are 2 gaps in the itineraries that have not been released.

Its departure date that matters not what moths the cruise May overlap.

I am on the same cruise as Ashland  Oct. 2021 Freedom. If the cruise is canceled can we lift & shift to 2022 to the Adventure as the Freedom will not be in New Jersey?

I believe when we booked our Grandeur of the Seas cruise for Feb. 28, 2020, our itinerary first stop was Charleston and last stop was Nassau. Today as I look at the Feb. 28 cruise it shows the direct opposite with Nassau as first stop, Coco Cay second, Orlando (Port Canaveral) Florida third and Charleston the last stop. Is there a change in immigration if we are coming back from Coco Cay  (Bahamas) to Port Canaveral, Florida? Thanks to all for responses. Do we have to exit the ship in Port Canaveral and go through immigration???

    The itinerary did not change.

The web page is wrong. Called C&A they checked and it's the same as when we booked.

Have a good day.  See you on board.
