  1. I realize this is a very minor thing in the big scheme of things, but I read somewhere that once you are an emerald member you can receive a welcome amenity which normally includes a snack and bottle of water. I also read that you can request a soft drink instead of water, which I'd like to do. I've tried everything and spent way more time than a free soft drink is worth, but now it's a challenge that I can't give up. How in the world do I request the soft drink? I went to royalcaribbean.com/upgrade preferences which is what I was told to do but see nothing that says "preferences" and see no form to fill out to list my preferences. Help?

    Hope this helps

    • Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members will receive welcome waters & a snack (“welcome amenity”) on day one of their sailing. These items will be placed in the guest’s stateroom. In addition, Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members can go online to http://www.RoyalCaribbean. com/UpgradePreferences or call one of our Loyalty Representatives (http://www.RoyalCaribbean.com/ContactLoyalty) in their local offices to preselect from a list of beverages to be included with their welcome waters & snack. One beverage can be selected per guest 18 years of age or older. Preferences must be entered or updated for your upcoming cruise vacation up to 5 days before a US based sailing and 7 days for an internationally based sailing. The beverage selection list for Emerald and Diamond members will include water, juice and soda items. In addition to the previous list Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members can select from a more expanded list of beverages. If a guest has not selected an item then bottled water will be sent to the stateroom. House alcoholic brands may be substituted or changed, and are subject to availability.

  2. Then we need someone who has recently sailed on GR to update us as to the who the concierges are for the DL and CL. That is how we get our information.

This thread only covers Concierges as that is enough work. I don't know if there is a separate thread for Loyalty Ambassadors. We had the same issue with Genies and someone started a Genie thread on the RCI Board.

    GR info is correct.

My question was who Concierge was on AN I knew it was not Luara Baksa sorry for the confusion.

  3. WOW - we were on this cruise as well, and what a great rerun!

Some information that I didn't see answered.

Savory bites. They are no longer in the bread basket - but if you ask, they will have them night 2 and continuing. DH is their biggest fan, so I know.

Loyalty Ambassador is Laura Baksa, Brazil. She is filling a schedule right now, so I'm not sure if she's returning to Grandeur after her vacation.

And to anyone that might ask, the Artichoke Crepes were AWESOME!

Thanks for the info on Luara Baksa

  4. Posted on facebook. Not sure if everyone saw this.

An update from your C&A Member Director, Millie

    ROYAL CARIBBEAN CROWN & ANCHOR SOCIETY·THURSDAY, MARCH 22, 2018[/url]

    Dear Crown & Anchor Members,

As you may be aware, on March 8th, we launched website functionality with an aim for you to more seamlessly manage your Royal Caribbean Online Account. Our goal was, and still is, to improve your experience across all platforms, especially on your mobile devices. When the project went live, we hit some bumps in the road, and while we are working diligently to fix them, we are very sorry for the difficulty this has caused.

Since Michael Bayley’s communication on Friday, March 16, 2018, we have made substantial progress in improving functionality for the new Guest Account portal. There is still work to do, and we are in the process of implementing resolutions, as well as taking care of guests who have written us at guestaccounthelp@rccl.com. Once these urgent situations are addressed, we will be able to provide more information and insight into the next steps of our technology upgrades.

I want to make sure that we keep you informed, and remind you that you can obtain the most up to date information by checking in with us periodically - here, on our Crown & Anchor Society Facebook Page.

As always, we can’t thank you enough for your patience, and most of all for your constructive feedback to make this new technology the best it can be. You are important to Royal Caribbean, and we appreciate you sticking by us. It’s our mission to deliver the best solutions possible for our most valued guests, and this situation is no different.

    Millie

It works fine for me, on occasion I run into hiccups on Google Chrome but on Microsoft Edge it works very nice. Keep up the good work and thank you for updating us. Can't wait to be onboard Freedom of the Seas April 8, 2018!

  5. ROYAL CARIBBEAN CROWN & ANCHOR SOCIETY·FRIDAY, MARCH 16, 2018

    Good morning everyone,

I wanted to write our loyal Crown & Anchor members to both acknowledge and apologize for the issues you are experiencing with our new Guest Account functionality and more importantly update you with the current status. I know that many of you are wasting valuable time and energy migrating to our new Guest Account system. Please know that we hear you, we read everything and we have mobilized the necessary resources to fix the problems.

Our new Guest Account capability is well-intended and will ultimately make everyone’s life easier by having one username and password and a unified account that will make using our various systems seamless whether onshore or at sea. We’ve also invested in upgrading our security capabilities to provide additional protection. The root cause of everyone’s frustration is a combination of many guests having created multiple accounts over the years, the elimination of being able to select amenities and preferences online for our loyal Crown & Anchor members, and mistakes we made in developing and implementing the first release of this new capability. Long story short, we simply did not deliver on this implementation despite our best intentions.

Recognizing all of this, we have assembled a focused team to fix every possible issue. We have a clear list of fixes and the team is working fast to implement solutions to resolve both data issues and restore functionality. They’re making progress and you will see an improved experience in the coming days. If you are continuing to have issues, we’ve also created an email account at guestaccounthelp@rccl.com to reach the dedicated team directly versus having to call customer service.

We realize that none of what I’ve said changes the fact that we’ve added complication and frustration for our loyal guests. Please know that we value your loyalty and rather than try to give you some vague excuses as to what’s taken place, I want you to know that we recognize our mistakes and are working hard to fix them quickly.

Thank you for your patience and your loyalty. We don’t take it for granted and are working hard and fast to address the situation.

    Michael

  6. They haven't raised anything.

Through all the sales of the cruises I track, rates haven't been rasied

Bermuda cruise booked on Dec. 23 @ 30% off second guess was $1,960.00 for two.

Same cruise checked when they had 30% off each guess was $235 higher rates had to have gone up.

  7. I have booked Anthem for 1 year from now - over the Halloween week - and am now very concerned about rough seas and a lack of staffing on the ship for the quantity of passengers. I've never been a fan of the bigger ships - for just the point of trying to keep the ship managed, but wanted to do this ship because of the port location - and that I wouldn't have to take a plane to get to the ship.

I'd be curious to know as the trip goes on, did the service get any better? And how were the seas? Barring the Sunday storm (which may not repeat in a year) - how was the sailing from Cape Liberty?

Read this review she is on the ship right now total different review.

    Live Grandeur 10/28/17- 12 day Baltimore/S. Caribbean
