I am glad Allure still has a place to charge the phone. I would hate for the battery to run low and the alarm doesn't go off!

Our first available check-in time WAS 10am and we got it BUT we were just notified by RC that check-in is being pushed an hour later. So now Check-in time is 11:00am. Departure time has been changed from 4pm to 5pm.

Survivor tonight is 3 hours!

Here is a sample of what it looked like in October.

270 is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Food good, great view, relaxing atmosphere. North star and i-fly are worth trying. The Solarium is great. Try the outdoor seating at the in Windjammer. The bumper cars are fun. It's a bit more of a challenge to find our way around Quantum clas. Ships but we are used to Oasis class. We miss the Aqua Theater too. Not a big fan of Jamie's. You should really enjoy them. Have fun.

@Ocean Boy You may of already mentioned it but did you check to see if you could reserve your shows yet?

I need to research that or @bobmacliberty may be able to help. Departure time is 9pm. I usually like checking in early to get specialty restaurants booked but for a 9 night cruise it probably isn't a big concern. After cruising Ovation we really only enjoyed Chops. I am now rambling now. Still getting warnings ⚠️.

Does this happen where you are? We have 4 major TV stations in the state all broadcasting from central Arkansas. When storms roll through 3 of the 4 spend the whole evening tracking. Yes there are a couple tornadoes. We have 75 counties and they have spent the last 35 minutes zooming in and out of 3 counties in deep south Arkansas. They start a show, 15 minutes go by and then 30 minutes of WARNING ⚠️. Back to the show then a few minutes later WARNING ⚠️ . They could warn you by scrolling it along the bottom or a corner shot.

I figure they asked based on the pic of that new monopoly piece you found. 😆

We signed in last week for our January cruise and got 10am, earliest available. The time before we were able to sign in at 11pm central time. This time we were not able to sign in until midnight central time. Maybe just a glitch this time. Getting check-in time does make it more realistic. Good luck.

🙏 that all goes well for your friend's recovery from the fire. I bet it is great getting together with your friends. Being one who loves gardening, the balcony looks great! She certainly has "green fingers". 👍

I'm glad that it's healed. It may be one of those injuries that once healed let's you know when the weather changes. $120 is not bad. Once you add the cost of gas at least one flight was paid for. And if we were to drive we would miss the suspense of flight cancelations. 😆

We just checked out A2S prices. 😳 A roundtrip $1,850 each! I am feeling much better about our cost. We are breaking it up some. We will 1st fly to LA and spend the night and leave the next morning. We will arrive in Hawaii Sunday and cruise Tuesday at 9pm. Now that we are doing a deeper dive we are finding decent prices flying to Hawaii. Looks like the cost of flights plus hotels will beat A2S same day price.

I thought this was the trip you fell.... BTW, are you doing better now? It says it would be a 9 hrs drive but that is without stopping. Also add the cost of parking. I was tempted to drive but it's a 4 person decision. Besides, we enjoy flying. With that said we have been talking about taking a road trip to visit Boston and area. We would take several stops on the way there and back.

We are cruising out of Galveston in January. We got an OK price on flights. Not great but not bad. Surprised me. We considered driving.

No, I didn’t think of it. We booked one part already. I wonder if you could just book return flights from them.

I was happy to see the Social Security increase but I think we are about to spend it all. We booked the May Hawaii cruise on Ovation. The cost of flying to Hawaii and then flying back from Vancouver is crazy high. Last May we had the Hawaii cruise booked but it was canceled. That is when we decided to do the Alaska cruise. I hope it all works out this time.

I thought I would share a picture of my buns! 😃 My 1st attempt at onion buns. I made them last night. It took longer than expected so we didn't try them until today. We made Cheddar cheese burgers and used these buns. The buns had a strong onion taste when we tried a little last night but good eating them with a hamburger. No need to add sauteed onions. I lucked out. I forgot I put them in the oven. Sharon walked into the kitchen and asked if I was cooking something. They cooked a little longer than I should of cooked them but not bad. I will make them a little smaller next time. About the only thing I like about the weather turning cold is that I am getting back to baking.

Our boarding time in January Allure is 10am. Is 11am the easiest time this month? When we had an early boarding time on Allure in Ft Lauderdale last November they checked us in and then we were put in a waiting section for about 20 minutes.
