MSC plays by their own rules, i would give it a try. One thing i can say they've gotten much better at answering the phones at least.

OP here, just FYI, I called MSC to cancel my trip at day 91 out, they cancelled my trip no questions asked. I was a bit surprised. Now just waiting to see refund on CC to be sure.

This is true and I actually find that politely asking works most of the time, it's very discretionary.

I specifically asked that question at cruise next desk and they said "no" but it can't hurt to ask again.

Using pub trans, I see there is a NYC MTA bus that stops some blocks from Brooklyn cruise term, and that's as close as you can get. Is it a reasonable walk from bus stop, safety and distance? If not, is there a very active Uber community there? Thanks

That's a gotcha! If I booked a cheaper cruise could I add extras, drink package, excursions to bring up the price equal to the one I'm cancelling? Or even book two cruises to equal the one I'm cancelling.

Thats great news to hear, I am Fantastica. My previous MSC cruises i did just as you say, i had stock of water. It used to be printed on contract, water included, this contract has no mention of water

Sailing on meraviglia in the fall from Brooklyn. I've sailed with MSC before and there was always a para about water. Available during lunch and dinner only in dining room, no charge. My latest invoice has no such wording. Has there been a change. Thanks

Hi, Looking to take advantage of NCL zero solo prices on Alaska cruises. Plan to do a back to back, so either looking at Vancouver start/finish or Anchorage. Flying in from NYC. Have to price out flights yet and see which is cheaper round trip but in addition would like to know which airport is easier to navigate thru and has better/easier access to port and hotel accommodations. Thanks PS- Just checked r/t flight prices and non-stop to Anchorage is way more expensive and less frequent than Vanc. So looks like YVR will be my choice. Airport and cruise port easy transfer?
