  1. Once we confirm we will check in. ☺️
  2. So glad I saw your post. We are going to cancel our two back to back Diamond Princess trips in Feb. and March and book this one. Love the one way flight and it's a few dollars cheaper. Yes more sea days but fine with us. 🙂 Joe
  3. If the agent you were talking to was out of the country then it sounds like what others have posted. Princess needs to step up their game and train these agents or bring them back to the USA. How much more bad information are they going to give out. Is Princess really trying to push away customers. I hope my travel agent doesn't have this many problems with the agents they have to talk with.
  4. Oh Bob. You are so predictable. LOL You do the same thing everytime you go on a cruise. I bet you are half way to Los Angeles by now. Hope Holly isn't a back seat driver. 😄
  5. Well FINALLY! It's so nice to see you posting again. Looking forward to your review. Jak and i wish both of you a great trip. Joe
  6. Have not attempted it yet. Did do the New Zealand one by laptop and except for the photo that one was easy. I do have someone to help with the Australian one. They make it challenging for us older folks. Thanks All for your advise.
  7. Its amazing how much sound from very loud snoring comes through those doors. Can't very well tell them to turn it off. LOL
  8. We always check to see that the cabin is NOT an adjoining room. We do not like them.
  9. Sounds like something you would hear on a Carnaval board. We have been traveling more years then I want to admit and have never seen kids at the bars.
  10. I always carry a very small stapler and a roll of clear packing tape. It has worked for us.
  11. And what is the work around for those that don't have a smart phone? Can it be done on a laptop? Thanks

    Had never seen this. Thanks
  13. Now if they would offer some good Polish food I might just sign up. ☺️
  14. Just as an FYI. Mexico could be warm/hot. The inside of the ship could be cool and your stateroom could be cold. Pack accordingly. One of our last cruises the air was broken in the stateroom and we got only cold air. Came home with a cold.
  15. Didn't I read somewhere that they would be charging if you ordered more then one entree? Or was that just lobster and steak?
  16. Pretty amazing trip. Even with the political unrest in Peru. We want to go back and do it all again.
  17. We were very happy with the way the Sapphire handled in the Antarctica last December. You know how that area of the world can be. So maybe you are right Coral.
  18. Don't think they do. That would be up to you to pick and choose items you think are lower sodium. If sodium is a big concern you would probably have to setup something with the lunch dining room staff if the dining room is open for lunch.
  19. Wow. How things can change in 9 months. We sailed the Sapphire for 33 days in December. One of the best cruises we have taken. Crew were top notch. We ate in Savoy. We hated to leave. Hopefully your next cruise will be better.
  20. If you have the whole day just sign up for the Princess Transfer. If you are familiar with Uber call them. Last resort a taxi. Just my opinion.
  21. My only concern with this is where the inside cabin was located. If the cabn was all the way forward or aft there is no amount of money offered that would make me take it.
  22. 😀 Good Day. I'm not trying to be funny but I have never heard the term Day Suit.. Sorry, I live a sheltered life. LOL Mexico cruises are pretty simple. Wear what you would if you were going out to a nice restuarant for dinner. A jacket would be nice but now a days Princess seems to look the other way. Just please no shorts at dinner Lunch in the dining room is casual. On the other hand if you love dressing up as we do skys the limit. Have fun it's a vacation..
  23. We did the package many years ago. We flew in Late from Los Angeles. A rep. was waiting and put us in a taxi to the hotel. After we checked in at Captain Cook we had to find a luggage cart and take our bags to the room. Everyone else had gone home. The bus transfer the next morning was easy. Nice drive. I think we would try the train next tune if available. The bus seating was cramped;, I'm tall. And the bus was cold. Some didn't bring any type of wrap with them on the bus and were uncomfortable. I think the train would be a bit more enloyable.
