  1. Will do.

I wonder if this is part of the Yahoos chain as we have here in SOCAL.

    From their website:

Wahoo's Bistro & Patio Restaurant is located at 36 Water Street in the historic town of St. George's. Owned and operated by Alfred Konard and Geza Wolfe; both owners bring with them decades of combined experience in the restaurant industry. Our waterfront location is a perfect spot to enjoy both indoor and patio dining. Our menu features a variety of delious options. Come and try our Wahoo specials especially the award winning Bermuda Fish Chowder, certified Angus Beef, daily blackboard specials, home made desserts; including our imported Italian Bindi Gelato. Our Wiener Schnitzel is prepared with love by our own Austrian chef Alfred Konard. We also offer a full bar service with specialty drinks, liqueurs and coffees. Ask Geza about his daily special coffee creation. Good food, great prices in a friendly and casual atmosphere.

  2. We just booked the Reflection for April of 2018 and were tossing around booking a suite or AQ cabin. Since we love Blu and the Persian Gardens we opted for AQ. My hubby is so excited for this as we have only sailed Millennium Class ships and they seem to be different from the Infinity and the Summit. Truthfully, I can't wait either....it's so relaxing!

  3. We will be doing a transatlantic next year and are so excited about St George. We have done two Bermuda cruises on Celebrity and have pretty much seen the entire island including the beaches, crystal caves, Hamilton, Dockyard and everything in between. On our last trip we only got to spend an hour or so in St George on our tour and missed so much because we opted to sit and have lunch. I will say that we had lunch at a great place called Wahoos. My hubby and dad had fish and chips (a portion too huge that they could of shared just one) and my mom and I had the fish tacos (to die for!) I look forward to being back there next September.

  4. There was both gravlax and lox on board. The gravlax was extremely salty. The lox was good. Try it in an omelette....delish! As a spoiled New Yorker I have to agree, bagels weren't the delicious treat I'm accustomed to. Once toasted, they were ok though.

  5. Thank you for all the wonderful advice and all the hard work. May your future endeavors bring lots of fun and success. I look forward to hearing what that will be. To Anne....I wish her the best as well.

  6. @nutleygirl.....I love the muesli on Summit! Add to that a glass of fresh squeezed OJ. I found it pretty easy to eat healthy on Summit. If I needed to indulge I would have a sugar free yogurt or in El Bacio a gluten free macaroon or sugar free cookie. I've been working on getting thin for my daughters wedding and didn't want to undo all my hard work. I managed to do pretty good and only gained 2 pounds!!!

  7. So, I've had quite the opposite experience. I emailed a letter to corporate on Friday and today (Monday) at 11:48am I got an email from Lorenzo D. F&B Operations Director. He thanked me for taking the time to send feedback and asking when I would be available to chat. I was busy all day and responded at 3:20 that I was free then. He called me within a few moments and we had a very nice discssion.

  8. They are amazing cabins. Last year when I sailed Infinity it came up last minute and I was able to grab it. I was sharing a room with 2 teens and it was nice to have private space just in case I will sleeping and they came in late. The size of the balcony is incredible! The day we did the Panama Canal crossing we had my parents in there with us and had a blast! Look at the size of the balcony!!!

  9. @davekathy....I had a bunch of issues with our cruise and I certainly did. I filled out the comment card, spoke with guest services on board, followed up with an email and letters to corporate. Most of our issues were food related. We sailed Summit 2 years ago, same cabin and itinerary and everything was amazing. It's incredible how in 2 years so many things have changed. Next year we are switching to Oceania in hopes of finding better food. My husband and I are both in the hospitality industry and are more critical than most. Even my parents, who have sailed Celebrity about 15 or so times have noticed a huge decline. They also are looking for a change to the luxury lines in search of better food.

  10. Phoenix, I am not being insulting or anything else for that matter. Again, expressing an opinion. If the cruise lines set a dress code then it should be enforced all over the ship. Why is it ok to walk into a formal dining room in shorts and flip flops on chic night yet not ok to walk through the buffet in a bathing suit? Yes, I saw it happen! The person was not eating, just walking through to get to the aft elevator and were told they could not. There are nights on board that I don't want to get dressed for dinner, those nights I'd eat in the buffet, Bistro on Five or order room service. Yes, I enjoy getting dressed for dinner but when I don't I follow guidelines. That's it!

  11. We were just on the Summit and were very surprised that on Chic night and woman was allowed into Blu in shorts and flip flops. Her two table mates meanwhile were beautifully dressed. The Maitre d should not have allowed her in the dining room. If you don't want to get dressed for dinner that's all well and good, but then go have dinner in the buffet. I'm one of those people who loves getting dressed for formal night. I'd love to see that come back. Gone are the days of elegance during travel. Oh well cest la vie I guess.

  12. Cruiserstimesthree you were in the cabin next to us. I was in 1141. This was our second time on Summit, same cabin. Two summers ago we sailed the same itinerary and had an AMAZING time. Food and service were excellent. All I can say is things have really changed and not for the better. The quality of food and service have really gone down. We both work in the hospitality industry for over 30 years so we know a lot about the subject. Food in the buffet was mostly good although there seem to be less choices. Blu was OK, our second night all 4 of us ordered the lamb and it was so tough none of us could eat it. Some food choices were ok others not so much. I ordered the Angus ravioli and it was awful. That night my hubby and dad had the lobster and said it was delicious and perfectly cooked. I can't remember what my mom ordered but she loved it. The following day we opted for buffet and had a delicious leg of lamb...go figure! Saturday evening we at at Tuscan Grill and food was tasty. It was comped because of some issues that we had throughout the cruise but in my opinion not worth the extra $45 per person or more if you order the "special" dishes. The calamari fritti was good, papardelle with short rib was fantastic, the rib eye with gorgon zola was fine. Desserts were good, although I asked for the strawberries with zabaglione without the sponge cake and was told no. It was 4 huge pieces of sponge cake with pieces of strawberries and cream. The limoncello cheesecake was very good. My dad and husband enjoyed the donuts.

Service in the buffet was mostly slow and non existent the first couple of days. After voicing our opinions and listening to other people complain we noticed that all the senior staff were now assisting. Service was much better the last two days for sure. Our room attendant was very sweet and very good at his job.

We loved Cafe el bacio and went there every day after dinner. Natalia was such a sweet and funny girl, we loved her. The wine bar on the 5th floor has changed also, they removed all the wine dispensing machines that were on the walls.

I always enjoy the solarium pool and the massage therapy shower heads in the four corners but they removed them....grrrrrr!!! Why??? We very much enjoyed the Persian Gardens every day.

My hubby was very upset that he could not longer smoke on the aft bar on deck 10.

The new lounge on deck 12 is very nice. We enjoyed the nighttime movies up there. There is no longer any daily entertainment on the aft bar and I'm guessing it's because of the movie going on upstairs. Our last cruise there was a fantastic Spanish guitarist there every afternoon.

Overall we had a nice time but if Celebrity wants to maintain its customer base, a more discerning clientele that expects great food and service they need to do something to change things back to the way they were before! After speaking with several staff on board I realized that this was not the doing of the crew, it's all coming from corporate. Hey Celebrity bigwigs at the corporate offices, you need to look at what's going on onboard your ships and make some changes. If not you are going to loose many loyal celebrity guests.
