  1. That's so disappointing! I loved all the food options on Summit that sailing. I was even a big fan of the small portion set up in the buffet area. Working in the restaurant industry I loved it for food safety reasons. I know that they did away with that. I wasn't aware that embarkation lunch in Blu was part of that trial run. Oh well, it is what it is.

  2. One of the nice AQ perks for us is being able to go to Blu for lunch as soon as we board. It beats the rush of everyone running to a buffet. I personally love the scents put in the rooms! I never drink the tea but do like the fresh fruit in the cabin. We also got the lanyards and the foldable totes. My husband also got a nice little card/money holder. Nothing beats the aft location on Deck 11. This will be our second time in cabin 1141. We liked the location so much we actually looked at all the summer sailings this year until we found one where that cabin was available. My parents Elite celebrity sailors have never sailed AQ and will be joining us this year in the adjacent cabin. I have a feeling after this sailing they will never go back to regular veranda or ocean view cabins.

  3. I was on Summit 2 years ago and Infinity last year and ate at Qzine both times. It's fun to experience but I feel that the food is so much better in the dining room and in Blu. I really just wanted something extra special for my mom's birthday. My husband and I just loved Normandy! My parents long time celebrity sailors are also disappointed.

  4. Got it thanks. We booked the 3 day specialty dining and were told we had to go to Tuscan Grill on the first night. After that we had to go once to Qzine and again to Tuscan Grill. I was a huge fan of Normandy and am very disappointed that they did away with it. I ended up canceling our package and will possibly just reserve a single night at Tuscan Grill. I'm not terribly worried as we are Aqua and have the option of Blu or the main dining room. I'm looking at it as I saved $476 that I can spend in the casino.

  5. Hi all. I can't seem to get a straight answer from Celebrity. Has anyone had any experience with 3 restaurant specialty dining package? What are the current restaurants on board? Is Normandy gone? Did Murano replace it? Is Tuscan Grill a third specialty restaurant?

  6. 1138 is a great cabin. We've been in 1141 just on the other side of 1140 and loved it so much we booked it again. For our next sailing we went through all the Bermuda sailings from May through August until we found that cabin available and grabbed it immediately. Also you will love Blu! I would have ideally traveled in June but nothing was available until August 14th. It's worth the wait!

  7. the couple that was on board Celebrity Infinity the week of March 15th -29th in cabin 7204. We were in cabin 7202, My son Mark was talking to you about enlisitng in the army. You were very kind to offer assistance if he needed it. Unfortunately, we didn't see you towards the end of the trip and were not able to exchange email addresses. I would love to be in touch. If anyone can assist me I would be forever greatful!

    Thanks....

  8. We are going on the Infinity on the 15th out of Santiago through the Panama Canal to Fort Lauderdale. I am so excited as we booked this over a year and a half ago. The Lima port has been changed to Pisco due to construction work going on at the Lima pier. We had our tour all booked through Celebrity and of course now it has been canceled. I called Celebrity and they told me that we'd be getting an OBC for the "inconvenience". I'm curious what they sort of credit will be given. I'm also reading up on Pisco and there does not seem to be anything to do there. So bummed and a bit pissed off. It actually puts about $1000 back in my pocket.....upside, I guess.
