    Thank you, this is exactly the type of information I am after. When you say “private tour” are you referring to the Regent private car tour or a privately arranged tour? Ive wondered how the private car tours work with a regent. We will be traveling in March 24.

    Thank you, that is the same month we go but the following year. I’ll be interested to hear your report on tours and climate etc. Looking forward to this trip, as I haven’t been to Japan before.

    Hi, I have booked a Tokyo cruise in 2024 and would love to read about others experiences. I remember reading a very good report pre Covid but can’t go back that far now, to search. Can anyone help sharing a link, if you have written a thread for a Tokyo cruise? Thanks.

    I can book my restaurant reservations this week and would like to know what times the shows start each evening? Also is the staff performance on the final or second last night and what time is that please?

    I’ve sailed on Mariner with Regent Seven Seas. A luxury cruise line with everything inclusive, excursions, alcohol etc. the ship is a small ship holding around 700 if that. Outstanding service, so much so, I will be doing the same cruise again in September. No upssells or annoying photographers. They also have a fantastic naturalist onboard.

    That’s so sad for those booked on the 2 cruises effected. I read elsewhere that the prop got some damage on the last cruise in Alaska. It takes a while to book a large ship into dry dock and they obviously had no choice but to cancel the 2 cruises. Let’s hope that it doesn’t take any longer than the 2. Im booked for September, so fingers crossed for everyone.
