  1. Our daughter has done the Circle C program twice and has had a good time both times. In this program they are allowed to sign themselves out if they do not want to do the scheduled activity. Which she did but was nearly always hanging out with the others from the group that didn't want to participate either. I am usually wandering the ship and I would see her many times and she did not even know that I was there. They do have quite a few activities that they all did. She still talks, texts, some of them from both times.

You should really try to get them there on the first night for orientation as that is where they meet and figure out who they want to hang out with. Not saying they can't make friends the next day it's more of a first impression kinda thing.

We got her a soda card so she could have a drink when she wanted. We also put cash on her S-S card so that she could play video games. By putting cash on it it limits what she can spend and can't just run up the card in the arcade. Have read horror stories about this!! She knew her budget for the week and was very aware of her spending per day.

Hope some of this helps you.

I posted the Circle C activities for the week awhile back. Here is a link to it.

  2. Our daughter did this with her Circle C group also. Really enjoyed it.
If you are going to do it with your own little group just have one person designate things through out the ship that everyone has to photograph. Picture at Red Frog, Cruise Director, hole #4 on the mini golf course. Be creative. Who ever has the most pics wins.
  3. Thanks everyone.....so I guess at least one cruise line has it, so I wasn't THAT far in left field - ha ha.;)

You are correct KPfromCT - only about $1 - $1.50 difference....guess I thought it might be $2-$3 different.....

The link provided was very helpful....

When we were on Glory last October DW would get the virgin drinks and add her own rum from the bottle we got from Bon Voyage. I think they were about 1/2 price of a regular drink.

  4. One of my favorite things is to get a Guy's Burger and fries, or anything you want. Go to the back of the boat by the adults only pool there are tables there. Very peaceful looking out over the ships wake and eating lunch. Usually not to crowded there either.

Get there early for the comedy shows if you want a seat. Depends on the comedian as to if the show is good or not. Have seen good ones and bad.

The piano bar is a good place to hang out for awhile. Usually a pretty fun crowd there too.

  5. They do swipe your card occasionally to check to see that it is your card and not someone else's. There is no sharing. Your picture comes up on their screen when they swipe it but there is no charge and you don't get a receipt.

I don't think that you can get the mocktails with the bottomless bubbles package. My wife got virgin drinks from the bars about 1/2 price of the regular ones I believe. It has been since October so don't remember the price.

  6. Unfortunately this is the mentality of alot of people in the USA. They don't want to work and think that the world owes them for everything. It all started back when the person sued McDonald's because her coffee spilled on her and she sued saying that there was no warning label on the cup saying that it was hot. Has gone downhill ever since with lawyers now knowing that they can settle out of court most times and get 1/3 of whatever they "get for their client". Disgusting if you ask me. There are only a few in this suit. I wonder how many in the next one and why didn't these people all go in together? Or do these people have different ailments than the next group? Hope they don't get a dime.

  7. Did I see you have to close the curtains from sunset to sunrise? That sucks

You are not supposed to have the lights on with the curtains up. It interferes with the bridge viability.

We left our TV on for light to see in the cabin and left them open to watch the stars and never had a problem.

When leaving Nassau there were several other ships in the distance. One was a Disney ship that started shooting fireworks which was really cool to see.

  8. We have always done late dining as well. Don't really think that we have missed much as the shows have a late and early seating. Plus don't like to rush back to the ship after a day in port to eat. This way we have time for a shower or drink before dinner.
