They do charge you $22 each if you don't bring them back. They are nice towels though.

I've cancelled directly with Carnival even when using a TA.

 

By the way, if you ever use a gift card to buy an excursion, you will get a replacement gift card back. And that can take weeks. So be as sure as you can when paying gift cards. Still waiting for a gift card to replace excursions I cancelled a month ago.

I have decided to cancel a shore excursion I booked on line. I have a T/A outside of Carnival. Who do I call to cancel? My T/A or Carnival? Couldn't find a way to cancel online. Thanks.

Thanks for the info on Spice Beach Club. I have a snorkel trip planned in the morning of our stop but would like to spend the rest of the day here. So I can walk there from the ship and pay for a lounger and buy my drinks there. Sounds like what I'm looking for.

I like the choice of YTD or Assigned seating. I prefer a fixed seating time. I tried your time dining a few times and I just didn't care for it. I like to know what time I should be there and where I am sitting.

Our last few cruises we have noticed that the cabin gets to warm in the middle of the night. We have also been experiencing lower water pressure than what it used to be. These are area's that they shouldn't cut back on in my opinion. I personally like a good shower and a cool cabin at night.

We are booked on the same cruise in April. Our roll call is going strong. We have been booked for about a 1 1/2 years and first they changed our port and now the whole ship. None of us are to happy but are dealing with it since there are so many of us going together. I hope Carnival doesn't do anymore changes. The Valor is a nice ship. Come join our roll call.

Thanks robandana. You just don't know what a relief that is to know we can get something to drink after hrs. We are night people and there is nothing better than a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate to warm those hands while on a ship to Alaska. Thanks again for the quick reply.

Can you get tea, coffee or hot chocolate after hrs. in the windjamer, or do you have to purchase these extra somewhere else on the ship. Thanks.

My sister and I are using our upgrades and free steakhouse on our next two cruises.

 

We're booked at the cheapest inside rate, but are staying in a Deluxe Ocean View. We would not normally eat in the Steakhouse, but since it's free we're going to.

okgirl, that's a great idea. Do you think it might work from an ocean view to a balcony? I would like to use the steak house perk on my Diamond cruise since I will have a couple of friends that want to try it out on that cruise. I never been to the steak house either. Dining room works just fine for us. But I will take the free dinner. Thanks for the post.

you will get the immediate benefits. unlimited free laundry, meet the captain event, steakhouse dinner. you must request the free upgrade or free 3rd person but it doesn't have to be on that cruise. I believe u have a year on that one. everything else is also a platinum benefit.

I use the Discover Card promotion and had a problem since I am supposed to pay my cruise off with my discover card. I thought I would be fine since I used Discover to purchase them. At first they said I couldn't use the gift cards or I would lose my $160 from the Discover promo. But after a bit of whining and begging, they agreed to let me do it this one time. WHEW. Lesson learned. So if you used a card promo, you may have a problem. Just beg a little and they may change their minds.

Diamond level is great, lot of nice perks...we are 10 days away from being Diamond PLUS....looking forward to that..:D
