Akaroa is a very small place and you tender there. If you google "Akaroa laundry" there seems to be one motel with public laundry facilities. But do you really want to lug your laundry on a tender?

The MDR doesn't require formal wear. The business suit fits the dress code just fine.

The welcome drink isn't French champagne, nor Calufornia champagne, nor is it Italian prosecco, it is labeled "sparkling wine". It's a nice gesture, nothing wrong with it at all. But there's also nothing wrong with trying to be accurate.

Yes if you are paying for it yourselves you don't both have to buy it. Just one can buy, but you can't share.

That's almost funny. The website's off on walkabout, apparently. Somebody at Celebrity has a sense of ironic humor:p

Travel agents used to be able to book shore excursions. I wonder if that's changed? But anyway, the OP is asking about the transatlantic exclusion.

Do a search of this board for "gastropub" and you'll see menus and photos

No razors or toothpaste but you will have q tips and cotton balls.

Absolutely you can use the leftover dollars to settle part of the account and make up the rest with credit card

There is a very interesting statue of a Westie outside the entrance to Michael's Club on the Eclipse.

Cruise Critic is searchable -- in the search box put "gluten free" and you will find dozens and dozens of posts with lots of helpful advice.
-
Click on Find Your Celebrity Roll Call, then go to your ship and sail date and post there.

Unlimited cappuccino, latte etc. no coupon.

Did you mean to write you are now Elite +?

Did you book with a travel agent? APparently they are running a different system and can check on all of those things for you.
If you are in Captain's Club, give them a call and they can do it, too.
If you booked direct with Celebrity, try changing browsers. Also emptying your cache and getting rid of old cookies sometimes helps.

Well, I do put some blame on Celebrity -- the shady side of the Art Auctions is well known. But just like some of the merchandise in the gift shops, or the overpriced lotions and potions and hair products sold in the spa, experienced cruisers usually know to steer clear. How many of us rushed to buy the "inch of gold" the first time we saw it?
There are man products of dubious quality sold not only on cruise ships, but at land-based resorts world wide. They count on the feel-good vacation mode, ply the passengers with some sparkling wine, and pretty soon…. well, sometimes in the cold light of day, the product or service just doesn't live up to the hype.

For a start, make sure that your credit card company understands that Celebrity was only acting as the billing agent for Park West. The items were to have come from Park West, and they are the ones who have fallen down on the job. I assume you have all the purchase paperwork, etc. to send to the credit card company.
Do a search of Cruise Critic and also just Google Park West, and you will see both satisfied and dissatisfied customers' stories. Maybe you can find something in them that will help your cause.
Have you spoken directly with Park West yet? Or only been dealing with Celebrity? I would go directly to Park West if you haven't already, to see what they have to say.

Many of us are disappointed that Celebrity, among other cruise lines, continues to have Art Auctions. They take up space, they tie up public areas like the Sky Lounges for hours and hours during set up, the auction itself, and then the removal of the pieces. They are a thorn in our side. But apparently they pay big bucks to continue to be a presence at sea, and are a source of revenue for cruise lines. I guess that helps keep our fares low, although I, along with many other cruisers, wish that Park West was a more reliable supplier.

Oh dear, the "Art" Auctions have been the center of many controversies over the years. So sorry you are caught up in one. You should know, however, that the Art Auction company is not Celebrity -- they are a separate company which simply rent space on board. The credit card charges do run through your on board account, but they are a separate entity, just like the gift shops and the spa. So Celebrity may say it's a legitimate charge, but your argument is really with the Art Auction company, Park West, who have not supplied you with your purchase. Good luck!

Eclipse has the lounge. I believe all the ships do now.

Sometimes Refelection, yes, but later. Pre dinner it's Rendezvous.

Sorry, I edited my post once I realized that, and our posts crossed in the ether.
In any case, I think you have to book through the BOA travel agency, so start there. But if you can go to any agency, then just order the certificate and turn it in.
-
I believe that in order to use the discount option you must book through the BOA travel agency, not through any other travel agency or directly with Celebrity.
You can also apply for On Board Credit.
To see if I am right, go to the Celebrity home page, look at the lower right hand corner, click on the card, and that takes you to the BOA offers. It might look like this is how you apply for a new card, but do it anyway.

I would love a mid-afternoon change! Every time I have brought it up (Guest Relations, Cruise Director, Hotel Director) I've been told that it's too hard on the crew getting ready for the evening dinner. So far, Celebrity always changes overnight
Can I make me a cup of coffee in my cabin in Century?

There doesn't seem to be a definitive answer about the question of whether or not room service delivery personnel are covered under the daily charge or not.
For one thing, for those in suites, deliveries brought by butlers seem to be covered by the Daily service charge.
Sometimes the room service deliverers are in and out of the room so quickly there isn't time to find cash, unlike how it happens in most hotels.
