Cruisestich , thank you very much for clarifying about the Sky Lounge & Parkwest. Am I correct or not that they only use it during the day & evenings it’s open for the bands, etc. ??

Some days they are out at three and others they are out at 9 PM. It appears that on the days when they leave the sky lounge at three their activities move to Celebrity Central, with quasar being used to store their items

Did I read that the Sky Lounge is closed??is it temporary or is Celebrity doing something with that BEAUTIFUL and useful space!! We have been on her many times and booked for Nov 2025.

    enjoy every moment!

If you have read about Parkwest, reserving the sky lounge on sea days for it special invitation- only auctions, that is correct.  They are doing this for five cruises in a row, this is number three with two more to come.

I was reminded this morning of some things that needs attention, but I don’t think they will do anything about any of them during the dry dock. There are windows in the sky lounge and Tuscan which are noticeably cloudy. I will ask if they are scheduled for a replacement during the dry dock.

I just ran into the Hotel Director and asked about plans for the dry dock.  Two areas that will be worked on during the dry dock are the tiles on decks four and five and the windows in the gym, Tuscan, and Sky Lounge

We are booked on the Silhouette in April. Can you comment on the condition of the ship, both the public spaces and the cabins? We sailed the Equinox and the Solstice back in 2022. The Solstice was in noticeably worse shape than the Equinox at that time.

Ship is spotless and everything that I have encountered is in good working order but April is a long way off and who knows what you will encounter then?

We're also Elite. Love the continental breakfast in Tuscan Grille with a Belini or Mimosa. What Elite parties on board? Do you mean the invite to - Captains Club Senior Officers Party?

There’s that, and the music and Mixology, and the wine, and perhaps some others

  6. Because it forces trivia into the Ensemble, which is not a good venue for that, it has negatively affected my Cruises. And it has removed ensemble as the “quiet” space for reading.  It has also limited the number of movies that can be shown in Celebrity  Central.  That’s Another activity I enjoy.  So it has been an annoyance every day.

But it still beats being at home…..
