Couple years ago we booked a cruise less tahan 5 days before, and had to fly for it...I remeber that it ws really cheap!..Normally we book 3 weeks/5 weeks before.

The reason there is confusion is that it has all changed. There are no longer Cabanas. They now have Bungalows. They are located in South Beach (the Cabanas were not).

 

I cannot tell you anything other than what RCCL's website says or what others that have been there recently have stated.

There are cabanas (seaside Ponte cabanas), marked as "1" in the recent maps ;) But are diferent than the Bungallows, and are in almost oposite areas :)

I have never understood using cash. Whether you pay the cruise line cash or pay your card off when you get home, it's the same thing. Personally for me, if it's the same, I'd rather have the extra points on my credit card for more free vacation.

We have to pay taxes when we pay with card (our home currency is euro) and we had problems in the past paying with cards because of bank permissions and sometimes our debit card don't work outside Europe.On the other hand, personally, we are not used to pay things with credit card, we like to pay the things imediately ;)

That was new for us too...there is always one time from when and until when we should check-in, but never been asked to chose from 10 am to 10:30am, from 10:30am to 11am, and so on...

I keep reading that lots of people have the water delivered to the cabin...We only need 2 or 3 bottles of water....should we pack it to be delivered or should we keep with us and show it to the security? I don't want our luggage in the naughty room :D

The only time I used the porters tags...it was lost...Other time i use paper tags, it was raining so much and so much wind that one of the tag get lost too...Now I use covers (home made covers, not the ones that we buy online)https://www.

Hello! Starting to pack for our next cruise! This time we will attend to the Top Tier Event...because it's our first TT Event I was seaching about the dress code and reading that shorts are not allowed... is it a fancy event? Can I use dressy shorts with nice sandals and a nice top, or do I have to use long pants or a dress? Searching for photos from previous events but can't find it...Maybe a silly question but we will fly to this cruise and stay 5 days in New York so we want to pack as light as possible...Thank You!

Maybe a silly question...If we buy one drink in one venue and we want to go to another bar or to the casino, can we carry our drink from one venue to another or do we have to finish our drink in the place where we bought it?

Hello!If this is against the rules please remove :) I don't know where else to post this kind of thing! I'm preparing a big surprise for my husband and I would love that someone cruising right now would take a picture of a message saying "Miguel I love you, love, Alda" while onboard a Royal Caribbean Ship...I'm collecting as much pictures as possible from all over the world pretending to show him that my love reached several places in the world and it would be fantastic to say that my love even reached a Royal Caribbean ship because we are huge fans :)

We did the TA 2 years ago from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona...and we had so (Sooooo) much things to do...There were scrapbooking/jewellery/postcards classes everyday, there was a big group training as a choir to perform at the end of the cruise, there were several sports tournments during several days, we had some team chalenges (like building a ship with recycled things and put it on water)...There were lots of diferent parties and theme nights...We loved the TA...we were even disapointed when after 10 sea days we had to leave the ship :D I always bring books to read and I was sure that I would have plenty of time for it...not even a morning ... ;)

I am not the OP, but you answered everything I was wondering on my search for information on Coco Cay. RCCL and other posters make it seem like you have to pay for everything.

I was thinking the same thing...do we have to pay just to stay in the beach?What is the problem eith the free chairs? :)

I keep reading about this island for the last 2 or 3 years...but it's too far from Nassau :( And expensive...and you can miss the ship being so far :(

What about Q Victoria in April ?
