We are undecided between a dew either going to Puerto Plata and Labadee,or Falmouth and Nassau, but the menus ony go out 3 months, and when I clicked on menu,it only hD kids menu
I believe ships are voyager and independence and explorer
So follow Little Britain’s steps above & you can see the menus. If you need more detailed instructions, let us know. Once you do it the first time, it’s really pretty easy.

We were able to bring 1 L of Baileys, 2 Ls of Vodka, 700ml of Hennessy White and 750ml of tequila last month between 3 of us. 2 bottles packed in with the dirty clothes in each checked bag. All arrived safe.

I was able to sign on app,but being old and technology challenged, I can't find menus, and anyway, can't check simila cruises, since they only go 3 months out and are to different parts of Caribbean.
My cruise would not go to Mexico
What ship & what itinerary?

OK dumb question. I have seen people say go to the app.being that i,in the past have never sailed this line,I have never downloaded the app.
When I tried to download it won't allow me to,unless I sign into my account, which I don't have, since I never sailed RCCL,and it asks me for a credit card.
Guess either I misunderstood which app,or I am doing something else wrong.
We have notbooked yet, since we are undecided about which one
You should not need a credit card to download the app. Are you sure it’s the correct one? And you can set up an account without having a cruise booked. Still should not need a credit card.

If it’s only to ride the zip line, she’ll only need to wear them for 5-10 minutes then could change back to something you feel more appropriate. She could put on shorts not long enough for all day, for the five minute ride, then change back immediately 🤷♀️.

There are 13 different menus (last time I counted).
Something like Taste of (France, Italy, UK, USA, Mexico etc) also Welcome Aboard, Bon Voyage etc. They rotate depending on cruise.
Some days are better than others, but overall I always can find something I enjoy.
I agree, sailed Harmony last month & only found one night without an acceptable and tasty choice.

I don’t know how old your daughter is but there are many on line sources for girls clothing that don’t “sell out” by May. I just bought DGD 5 pairs of bike shorts for $20 at The Children’s Place, sizes up to girls 16. Go on line to Amazon or Walmart, pretty cheap.

Park Cafe has way more offerings than Promenade. CP is more of a nosh place. In PC, there are lots of soups, salads, many more sandwich choices and the ever popular Kummelweck roast beef sandwich.

When booking restaurants individually, you choose day/time immediately. You do not wait til boarding to do so. AFAIK, the menu is the same as usual, no difference from booking a package, booking individually or booking on board. The menu is the menu.

True. When I started Cruising Royal on open Decks and around the pool had a Table with Ashtray for every 2 Lounge Chairs. I miss the Tables, were nice keep personal stuff off the Deck. Back then WJ had Trays for Food/drinks which some thought cafeteria cheap. But it also then used China plates, cups and glass not plastic Cups like now. My 8yr old Son was quite embarrassed when items shifted falling off his tray hitting the WJ Tile transforming his China and Glass into a million pieces...
I was referring to inadvertently walking through the smoking section on the pool deck.

The popular drinks one sees around the pool (pina colada, lava flow, margaritas etc) are $15 plus gratuity ($16.34). Beer, wine, hard seltzers less. You can see current on board prices in the app by choosing a current sailing on the ship you are interested in. Prices are there.

I understand but I will still hope for the day I don’t have to think “oh s#%#, wrong side of the pool deck again!”

Yes but your non smoking wife is exposed to, well, a smoking husband. She smells it all the time. I can’t even stand walking by a smoker outside.

I am a smoker, and casino player. I usually cruise NCL, but as we travel more, we're expanding our horizons. We'll be on Ovation in August, which looks to have fair smoking areas in addition to the casino.
NCL's newest ships have non-smoking casinos with separate smoking rooms. It works well, except for the inevitable "always p*ssed" complainers that don't like the minor amount of smoke that seeps from the room when the door opens.
I think this is the way it's all going to go eventually, and as long as there are fair and comfortable areas to smoke, I have no problem with it.
Minor amount of smoke to a smoker is very different to a non (former) smoker. Any cigarette smell is too much for me.

Like I said, the dining gods must like me 🤷♀️. The ONLY request they could/would not fulfill was hubby’s for a soup from a previous day’s menu. Everything else was “no problem!”

MTD starts when it starts. I have had it as early as 6:30 but not earlier. If the start time on your sailing is too late, you’ll have to switch to early traditional (if possible) or eat elsewhere.
-
I had no problem mixing & matching items from other entrees on the menu that night. I was also able to make an entree out of an appetizer by having them add a starch & a vegetable to the plate. Apparently this varies still from ship to ship.

Scan the bar code on your set sail pass at the gate. It was perfect that first day as many don’t find/use it right away. We had the hot tub to ourselves almost all afternoon.

I loved the suite sundeck on Oasis and I suspect Harmony's is very similar. I'm not one to sit close to the pool anyways so I didn't mind the distance from the pool. having your own bartender and restrooms near by was great. I loved the single clam shell seating. That was my go to spot however, I did use one of the Cabana's overlooking the solarium one day too...
This is a picture of the Cabana overlooking the solarium. Sorry I can't find a pic of the clam shell I spent most of the time. Very nice and much more peaceful.
That is much more open than we found on Harmony. Totally glassed in with solid sunshade above. No air at all.
