What is the earliest time to book flights to the US after Avalon cruise ending in Frankfurt? Thanks.

I have been on five Celebrity cruises in the past nine months and have yet to have anyone even glance at my boarding time on the boarding pass.  Do as Treasure Hunter suggests - Arrive at noon.  I predict you will be in the second or third group to be called to board.

Is there a way to change your promo dining date on line? Thanks.

Note that the single infinite veranda cabins on Celebrity Edge have no storage outside of the small closet.  No shelves, no drawers, nada.  You will be living out of your suitcase.

Wow.  That’s great news.  Previously, I had to call to get a new cruise set up using the booked-on-board deposit.  

“Ultimately, we again booked our next Celebrity cruise by ourselves online (within one week!) and our deposit -- and, more importantly, the onboard credit -- were applied to our reservation.”

So, did you have to put down the usual $450 deposit when you booked and then had your $100 future cruise deposit applied as on board credit, or were you able to book on line with just the $100 future cruise deposit?

I have, but daughter who is going with me has not.  That’s a lovely town.  If we flew into Brussels, we could do that as a day trip.  
I was just looking at a map.  Ghent and Antwerp are also possibilities if we start from Brussels.  Or would you stay in one of those towns instead of spending four nights in Brussels?

Booked the Avalon Active Discovery on the Moselle cruise that begins in Remich and ends at Frankfurt next September. We have four full days to explore prior to embarkation.  Where would you spend the time?  Trains are OK.  I don’t want to rent a car.  Fly into Luxembourg? Brussels maybe? Prefer small towns and hiking or walking. Thanks.

I lost the stockholder credit on my invoice when I had a cruise repriced.  The HAL agent told me that the stockholder group had to put it back.  I wrote to them, and they did put it back on an updated invoice the next day.

After learning more, I'm increasingly thinking I'll never be able to collect on a medical claim either.  As I travel alone, I would have no way to get pre-authorization for procedures if I'm incapacitated as I'd be unable to make the calls.  

Medical emergencies and evac are also my main concerns, as I travel alone. I wonder what other solo cruisers do?

I was told the same on the Millennium a couple weeks ago.

They do share a complimentary shuttle from the airport with the Marriott.  I took Lyft to the pier.

Google “ Nieuw Statendam deck plan “.  I have a category I on the Nieuw Statendam in February, and it looks like a larger cabin, but I was more interested in a mid-ship, so I will be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be large.  I’ve had J on Eurodam and Amsterdam, and they were the larger inside cabins.

I found a couple pictures.  The pool is on the fifth floor.  The AC is on the right, Marriott on the left.  The Dania Pointe directory is on the sidewalk across the street from their outside movie area.

I’ve stayed there three times and will again in February.  The pool is great, as is the gym which is also shared with the adjoining Marriott.  There are loads of restaurants and shopping two blocks away at Dania Pointe.

Just got off the Nieuw Statendam in Boston.  There was no in room dining available this morning, at least for “regular” guests.  Maybe the people in suites were able to order room service, but that option wasn’t on the instructions we received yesterday. We could stay in our cabins until our groups were called.

Disembarkation times were right on schedule.  
Very sorry I took the ship’s shuttle.  No assistance from HAL at all once we left the terminal.  I felt so bad for the many people with canes and walkers struggling to get down the long sidewalk to where the big buses were parked. 
Last scheduled disembarkation time was 9:30.
Great cruise, however.  

I have stayed at both the Marriott and AC Marriott at Dania Point.  They are a couple blocks from Dania Point shopping and great restaurants.  Free shuttle from The airport.  I have reservations for December and February at the AC.

 Can I drop a person from the reservation ( now going solo ) and keep the cabin and perks from the original booking with the new price?

There is at least one Alaska 14 day itinerary next year.  I’m on it.
