is there an easy way to find out which show will be playing on my cruise? we are sailing on LOS - November 3rd. I they would all be fun but I just want to know what we are looking forward to.

DH and I are cruising LOS out of Galveston on November 3rd. we are not staying in Galveston due to a bike rally that weekend. we are driving from Little Rock, Arkansas the day before and staying overnight. we will have our car so we can drive to the parking/port in the morning when we are ready. we were planning to stay near Houston but a suburb would be fine too. we just want a nice place with someplace to eat breakfast and possibly dinner the evening we get in (saturday Nov. 2) that is nearby. I am letting you know the direction we are coming from so the hotel can be along the route or close by so we don't waste lots of time driving around lost! 🤪 (we do have a GPS so not too bad) price range would be about $75.00 to $150 so we are a bit flexible.  TIA for any help you can give.

thank you! where do you place the fan? is there a place near the bed or does it need to be on the desk across the room?

Thank you! has anyone ever gotten the fan from special needs? is it really big or a small fan? just wondering how much room it will take up. I have a small battery operated fan but it does not move much air.

we are cruising in November 2019 on LOS. we have sailed this ship before but I can't remember if there are outlets near the bed. do I need to bring an extension? I like to have a fan next to the bed. should I ask for one or bring one?

do they have the option to park our car for the duration of the cruise?

Yes, Guest Services will add a gift card to your S&S account, or it can be done at one of the kiosks on board. They can't add gift cards prior to the cruise. You do have the option of buying Cruise Cash from the online FunShops (in $25 increments) before your cruise. That will be on your S&S account when you get there. Just be aware that Cruise Cash in non-refundable.

I bought some last month and they were e-cards. I am going to buy so I hope I can still get them via email. My cruise is in 4 weeks.

my cruise is next sunday (5/13). there were no more e-cards available so I ordered physical cards on sunday 4/29 and got them on friday 5/4. happy they came so quickly!

I got enough gift cards to cover our drink packages with about $65.00 left on one of the cards. do I go to guest services to get the left over amount added to our account? do I call carnival before we leave?

I noticed a price drop and called to see if I could move up from an inside to OV or Balcony. was able to upgrade to a balcony for only $200 (total for both of us). :D:D:D:D

for those of you who have gotten a call or email for an up-sell, did you book thru carnival or online travel provider? I know I am getting my hopes up but I would like to move to a better room. this time we got a port hole room and I know I will miss my balcony. I might call to upgrade anyway but I was just wondering if I will stand a chance of being one of the lucky folks contacted if I booked thru an online provider.

I would love to be offered an upsell. I think I just might upgrade to a balcony anyway but it would be nice to get a good deal to upgrade!

at what point does carnival start offering up-sell/grades? would it be after the final payment date? I might call myself for an upgrade if the price drops but I was just wondering what experience you had if you were offered either of these. how long before you sailed did they call/contact you? we are sailing out of New Orleans on Dream if that makes any difference

I have a question about the mock booking. what if I can't do a mock booking because I got a room that is limited in number? I booked a porthole room. when I do a mock booking, there are none available. should I be looking at an ocean view room to see if it is comparable?

Has anybody chosen a later time? my plan was to drop our luggage with the porter then take my DD to lunch in N.O. she has never been there. We should probably get to the ship about 2ish? is the line any shorter at that time?

thank you for the review. we have loved cruising with Royal and HAL and have not cruised with Carnival in about 10 years. last RCC cruise we were convinced to re-try Carnival by table mates at dinner. booked for May 2018. expecting to have a good time but I know the cruise lines are different. will keep an open mind

thanks for the great review. we have not been on carnival in 10 years so we are interested to see the differences from the other cruise lines. the smoke smell is alarming. Hope it does not happen to us since I cannot stand the smell of smoke
