If you want your luggage to make it to your departure city, I highly recommend not putting your ship luggage tags on before getting on the plane. Airlines have their own tracking systems. As the previous poster stated, no need to confuse the airlines which already have enough problems.

I would suggest starting in Luminae. See how you like it. Your butler, the Retreat Host, or the maitre d' in Luminae will be able to get you reservations in whatever specialty restaurants you desire to visit. Personally, I find Luminae equal to most of the specialty restaurants. Last time I cruised on Equinox, friends of mine had reserved Murano for their anniversary. When they came back the next night, they said it was fine but that they could have had an equally fine dinner in Luminae. They were only in a sky suite, thus had to pay for Murano. When the specialty restaurants are included in the price of your cabin, that's a good time to try them out. Then you can decide what you prefer.
