  1. Someone should clue them in that Iain is not exactly ambulatory at 9:00 a.m. My guess is they are staggering this as apparently you have around 250 B2Bers. Maybe see if you can get a later time.
  2. Your cabin category has nothing to do with it. If you are a back to back cruiser, regardless of what sort of cabin you are occupying, you may attend the concierge class luncheon on the first day of the cruise. I don't believe one receives a separate invitation, the information may be included in the B2B information one receives. I've done several B2Bs, but I don't recall how the luncheon was announced.
  3. Your pictures are great. Glad you showed the carved rocks. I had read about them when I was researching for my canceled 2020 and 2021 cruises.
  4. I just have to say I love how your trip reports turn into such an interesting community. Advice on how to deal with bills when gone for a long time. Check. Lists of books to read. Check. Research on meaning of interesting sculpture. Check. Re dealing with bills: my bills are all automatically paid by my bank. I've done this for years with no problems. I do see the bills electronically so I can fend off any problems which may arise. The exceptions would be once-a-year things like property taxes, but that can be handled online and I know when it is, so no problem.
  5. Yes, he mentioned he was training and studying to be a butler. Good for him!
  6. Love that Daniel Boulud dessert! But it's hard to remember to order it because it doesn't show up on the dessert menu.
  7. Tell Pres to have a wonderful vacation! Maybe he'll be back for our October cruise. I'm in the same neighborhood where I was on the spring repo, so it would be great to have him as my cabin attendant again.
  8. I've stayed in a RS previously. Yes, it would be nice if they had Murano on Summit. Or the other lovely specialty restaurant they used to have. Oh well. Roll call buddies are awesome. This one is the same one who introduced you to your current TA.
  9. I just managed to upgrade my SS to a RS on both my fall Summit cruises in order to avoid that damn tub. Sorry for those who had to cancel, but I was grateful for the alert from my roll call buddy about availability. Those tubs are an accident waiting to happen!
  10. I've done many B2Bs with Celebrity, but all were booked with a TA who just linked the reservations together and got me the B2B discounts for each cruise. I've never had to check in for the second leg. Once you are on board, verify with Celebrity that you are a B2B cruiser and you will receive instructions on what to do on turnaround day. No, you do not need to take your luggage off the ship. Your cabin attendant will handle the move for you.
  11. I had this cruise booked twice back when it was 14 days each way and allowed time in Reykjavik. Covid killed all that off. Don't care for this new version as much, so I guess I will have to visit vicariously through your posts. I hope you have a wonderful B3B and are able to stay on for all three legs!
  12. Fingers crossed that this works for you! Don't drink up all the non-alcoholic champagne as I am also boarding in October for a B2B. 😁
  13. Jim, if you can connect with Kevin, you will be fortunate. When we did the Canada/New England cruise, he and his wife took us on a wonderful tour of PEI. Both he and his wife are natives and we learned a lot from them.
