Jim, do you frequent the Martini Bar or other bars? Someone is asking elsewhere on Cruise Critic whether or not Celebrity has alcohol-free gin. I'd be interested to know as well. Monday is an excellent brand.
I've no experience with the Martini Bar and alcohol-free gin, but there are non-alcoholic drinks and wine available onboard. Monday makes an excellent alcohol-free gin and it would be interesting if they stocked it on board. I'll ask the next time I'm onboard.
The first time I sailed solo after they switched to the double points offer, I did not get the double points. A quick call to the Captains Club took care of that and I have received double points ever since. But I think it's helpful to check after each cruise as opposed to letting them pile up. Probably harder to verify.
I've only been once and I only went because friends were going and the price was included in my upper suite. If I had to pay for it, I don't think I would go. Dinner in Luminae is lovely. I think the price of Le Petit Chef is a tad high.
I tried digging deep on the TV on the Summit in the fall and couldn't find anything. So if you find it, let us know where. Why they can't just publish it like they used to is beyond me.
That's pretty much always been my experience with the Retreat except for the night the officers come. That's why I think it's strange that they kicked Zeniths out for "space considerations."
I had no clue my card was anything special, I thought they all looked like that. Just figured it was a new design. I think I showed it once--first time in Bacio. That's it. If I ordered a drink, they just asked for my stateroom number. Much ado about nothing.
Now I'm curious--what do the regular ones look like?
You will love Luminae--great staff! Give my regards to Lobo, Vikas, Yuda, and Emmy. I'll bet they're missing fighting over who gets to drive my scooter!
