  1. Looks like we'd have to have 5 alcoholic drinks per day to reach the cost of the package and the package for a 5 day cruise is $600. ($60 per person per day for 5 days) It is my understanding that one is limited to 15 alcoholic drinks per day per person. Not sure I could get to THAT number! 😆
  2. I nor my cabin partner are big drinkers but on a cruise one likes to have a fancy cocktail a few times per day. If we each had 4 drinks per day per person would that justify purchasing a Cheers package? I understand that specialty coffees are not included in this package. Am I correct?
  3. This Carnival Help page might help answer this question. https://help.carnival.com/app/answers/category/~/money-and-gratuities/c/475
  4. Carnival, it would seem, is mainly a family oriented cruise line and I base this on the great prices and specials geared towards 'free' for additional 3rd and 4th cabin occupants. Hence, lots of kids on your cruise, yes? Food issues seem to be a common complaint across all the cruise lines. We can only hope that Carnival is listening this will improve over time. Staffing also has been an issue for the cruise industry. Most of the staff on board are international people and I suspect COVID issues has a lot to do with the lack of availability of staff right now. Again, we can only hope that the next months will show improvement. I have an up coming cruise on Carnival in February and hope some of these issues will have been conquered.
  5. Does anyone have the hope that the menus (MDR breakfast, Lido buffet, MDR diner) will improve over the next 12 months? There have been so many complaints about cut-backs since the start up, I hold on to the hope that Carnival will make an effort to improve. Foolish hope?
  6. Are these men over dressed? 😏😂
  7. I'll be looking forward to you next cruise report next month, Paul. This was very enjoyable and informative and I thank you for you taking the time. Great pix too!
  8. Now that is an old time drink circa 1950s. Grandpa used to make them for the family.
  9. Are passengers allowed to request a late debarkation time? We will have 2 marginally disabled people with us and will be slow moving but are able to walk. Just wondering.
  10. I'd like to see a dining room with this window treatment. The NCL Pearl had an aft dining room with windows similar to these. Love it.
  11. The names of drinks, wild! How about some of the old time drinks like Side Car. That one always knocked me for a loop.
  12. Seems to be All Quiet on the Eastern (Caribbean) Front! Great photo shoot!
  13. I love getting up early when cruising. Watching that sunrise... peaceful without noise. It is as if this was your own personal ship. 😏
