Look at 2024's TA snd expect something very similar.

Thanks, that was definitely my first point of reference.

2024's TA leaves November 3rd.  I'm thinking the one in Fall 2025 may leave earlier because (according to post #440) the ship will be in St Maarten on November 9th.

When we booked the UDP in 2020 for a 2021 cruise it was $20 and I could swear that is what I had read on CC when Playmakers was put on the ships.
    Guess my timeline was off

All good!  Not sure how long it lasted for, but I found the press release that Royal sent out when they included it in the UDP, stating $35/person.

(I also added that it's from May 2019, because folks def would assume it's recent... lol)

That was only Izumi... Playmakers was always $20

We had the UDP on Symphony in November 2019.  It was definitely $35, which we thought was a lot since those menu prices were on the "inexpensive" side.  Essentially, we ordered more food because we could.  (In my opinion) lowering it to $20/person made sense.  But not so much anymore with the recent semi-drastic increases.

This is a legit question I'm wondering about because my family of 11 will be in the 4BR Villa Suite on Liberty.  Having a burger and wings party with a hot tub on the balcony without paying any extra besides tip for the delivery person is really interesting. I figured this wouldn't be an issue ordering this amount of food for 1 order, but if anyone else has done it, it would be interesting to know how it went.

Since you are in a higher-end suite, a suite concierge will reach out to you before sailing.  Maybe let them know and they will work their magic...

  5. Wife and I have been there kinda often.  We aren't beach people.  Twice, we went to Coco Beach Club... essentially because it was cheaper than usual.  We liked the lunch and the pool.

    Sometimes we've stayed on-board.

The last 5 visits, we've had reservations for the Up, Up, and Away balloon - and it's been cancelled each time due to winds.  Either we find out the day-of when we show up, or they will let us know the day before.  Have a few booked that go back in the Fall.. will try again for it.  We just want to go once 🙂

  6. Hi, I have already reached Prime and sometime in April, the Annual Tier (Interior) comp offer will hit my account.

I am cruising the last week of March.. if I buy an Open Booking (NCC), would I be able to keep the booking # and apply it to my Prime cruise – if I book it in April?

If so, I figure some extra OBC from the NCC can't hurt.

** To note - the NCC is $200 ($100 per person)... we'd upgrade from the (comped) Interior, so the balance will most likely be more.

    Thanks!

  7. Before my Anthem cruise in December, I found out my GTY cabin # thru the hack.  While not a terrible location, I saw others available (in the same category) that I preferred.

Tried calling Royal that day, but on their end it was still unassigned.  I even tried telling the person that I knew what my cabin would be (and how I found out), but they weren't aware of the hack.  So they couldn't do anything.

The cabin was officially assigned about two weeks later - but by then, there was no other availability in that category.  Ah well.

The nice thing for the organiser is they get all the pts on their acct. Can be enough to be controversial.

Nice for organizer I've heard. Cha ching.

As long as the organizer makes that 100% clear beforehand, folks who decide to participate should have no issue with it.

My Western itinerary seems to be slightly different from yours as our 2nd day is a stop at Coco Cay.  Unless they changed since this past December, the invite indicated "Lunch with Officers", and yes, they greet you as you enter and followed by a minor thank you speech in the MDR.

Yeah - we have Coco Cay on Day 7, which I'm honestly not a fan of.  But that's a discussion for a different thread... haha.

Hmmm, strange.  On Anthem last month, it was Cheers.  And on the list of benefits on the website, it's also Cheers.  But whatever it's called, it's the same thing that you described.

It all depends on the ship and itinerary.  For instance, on Oasis December 4 sail it was held on the 3rd day as it was the first at sea day.  This was a Western Caribbean itinerary.

By the way, not sure if we are talking about the same event.  Mine was the D+" Lunch with Officers", although none of the Officers dined with us (still Pandemic cautions).

    Thank you.

Since Harmony is an Oasis class ship (and also the Western Caribbean itinerary), my guess it will probably be the first sea day?  Day 2 on my sailing.

Pretty sure it is the same event... I'm relatively new to the "340+ club", but I think it used to be called "Lunch with an Officer", where an officer dines at your table.  Post-shutdown, it's now "Cheers with an Officer" - which is still lunch, but they just greet you at the beginning.
