I would not bring anything larger than an umbrella stroller.
Anything else will be tough getting around the ship.

Of my 30 different cruises.
We have had at least 4 trips that have had medical emergencies.
Some with diversions, helicopter, alpha alpha alpha, etc.
And those are the ones that I know about.
With 3000 - 6000 passengers (majority unhealthy) + crew
It is no big deal, or at least doesn't need a new thread started..

Most people do not have an issue with what you mentioned.
Sounds like a personal problem..

I can't really remember from the past cruises, but I think Royal Caribbean provides complimentary bathrobe and slippers inside the non-suite cabins. And you can wear those to the pool. Can someone please confirm this to me?
Thanks!
Anyone can get them.
Just ask your cabin steward.
They will get it for you.

One cruise, my mother and I were at a table with another mother and daughter. First night dinner dragged on and on as the mother told us her life story, mainly about death of her husband. My mother requested a different table the next day, said she wasn't this woman's therapist. 😅
People need to learn how to change the conversation topics...

Really?

What is with all the introverts?
Join a big table and be social.
It might be a little awkward the first night.
But after that, things livin up.

Why can't you just make cupcakes at home?
Do you really need a $35 class to make them?

I use an online TA for several reasons.
We are not glued to one particular cruiseline, so when I search, I can see all the different options out there for that week/month whenever I am looking for.
Also have you been on the RC site and tried to navigate? Or try calling? Have fun.

I keep hearing about RC asking folks to show up an hour later for their cruise. It has been happening for weeks now. It sounds like they are trying to get things figured out. I would assume they would leave an hour too. I think about the folks who don't get that email though. I also think when you have people ignore arrival time windows, it creates a huge cluster flop too.
They sent that email for our cruise back in December.
I asked several people working at the port about why they asked everyone to come an hour later.
They had no idea what I was talking about.
As for as cluster, it was the easiest fastest embarkation I have ever had.

If you are talking about the TA rooms set aside that we call group rates, I have been told they have to release what they have not been able to sell 90 days out.
Less than a week out it would not have an effect.
At this point some more rooms could become available due to cancelations.
I never said anything about being a week out.
Was referring to people doing mock bookings to see availability.

To get an idea do a mock booking on RC site. Right now it's showing only 2 Jr suites available. There are no available interior rooms. 1 forward ocean view. 1 CPB. 1 COB. 8 OVB. I would guess it will be "near capacity".
That is not always accurate.
I know TA's companies that will have banks of rooms set aside for their customers, which might now be shown on the RC website.
How many, or what category, I am not sure.

How do you know you will have good service?

The best ship names are all the old ones.
At least the "Of The Seas" names.
Sovereign, Majesty, Monarch, Legend.
The newer names get worse at each new ship.
HA has been reusing old ship names.
Carnival started doing it also,

Someday
Everyone will learn
There really is no "sale".
Just re-arranged numbers.

I interpreted your statement to mean that you literally had to call a Philippines number to speak with someone! 😄 Doh!
I was saying philippine's for two reasons.
To show they outsource overseas, which is not a big deal.
And to also show the difficulty with the language barrier, call drops, and misunderstanding when you are trying to explain the issues you are having.
In the end it not everything is fixed but enough to get me on the green zone.
The only thing I can do is log in by booking #.
I hope this doesn't reflex the actual cruise part.

App
click Personal information and documents
move down to gray bar SUGGESTED
click on arrivals
click on the arrival group you want
Got it.
This entire check in process has been a disaster.
We have 2 rooms and they have had every name & birthdate mixed up.
When ever I entered information it told me "cannot process not, try back later" etc.
I have had to make 9 calls to the philippine's
It has been one of the most cumbersome tasks I have done in a while..
Thanks for the help.

Can anyone show me where exactly you find choose your port arrival time on the app?
Or the web version?
I have searched everywhere with no luck
I am tired of calling them to fix everything..

Reason #86 why you should not book through the cruise line...
-
I believe there is a bank near port to take out a loan for the Transatlantic DP.

On the last 2 voyages
I found that RC has added many more channels
You can probably find something to watch beside RC commercials.

It seems they don't have to do anything for Pinnacles.
Your going to keep booking..

Car hire and transfer to and from the port
in Florida Departures
Posted
Alamo or any of the car companies in Miami do not provide shuttle service that I have ever seen.
The other Florida ports have it with certain companies.
Uber is the best and fastest.
I have walked/jogged once from the rental drop off store.
But that was when the ship I was sailing was docked closest to the bridge.
I think RC is the farthest(at least the Symphony is).
