Congrats on your beautiful son!! I am looking forward to following this review!

Hi- I wondered if anyone had done this tour? It takes you to a home
where you cook some food, drink some rum etc... Sounds fun to me - as small boats going on the ocean make me very ill :p
It sounds fun - but I'd like opinions! Thanks!

I have a cruise booked in Feb & have gotten ALOT of spa emails - I just delete them :D

The chocolate chip cookies are killer & I am afraid I take a plate full of them to the room - but a plastic zip bag sounds better!!!

Great review! I've read your others on RCCL and enjoyed those - now you are making me want to jump ship over to Princess.

We go in Feb and I appreciate your taking the time to go over what you found on your cruise with us!

This was a fabulous review! I got some ideas for St. Kitts & St Marten. Thanks for sharing your 2 weeks with us!

Great to see this review - as we are going soon!!!
Good info on the ports - thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experiences. I liked what you did in St. Martin. Never had heard of that area!
Thanks

I agree w/OP on the food. Lamb Shanks were marvelous - we got the RC cookbook and made their recipe for Christmas dinner! Fabulous!
I love all the Indian Food they have on the ship. I like to try them and mostly I really LOVE them.
We like sitting w/wine and having the cheese tray. We also enjoyed the
Wine Tasting and the Martini Tasting! We also love looking out at the sea and I hope to see something out there (whale, fish etc...).
Have met marvelous people and enjoy talking to them.
I was reading another post on the boards about RUDE people and luckily I have never encountered one!

Everyone has answered your questions - we also loved Adventure from PR. We are going in Feb. on Jewel. She sails from PR - we are going a day early and doing a walking Dinner Tour and are staying at Hotel Plaza de Armas in Old San Juan.
We did a lunch excursion when we stopped at PR for the day - on a Carnival Ship and liked it so much - we wanted to do the Dinner version!
The only thing about PR is the airport and the LINES for security. I've never seen anything like it
Enjoy!

I didn't realize that smoking was still allowed on balcony cabins. We haven't sailed HAL before & I am researching a 2015 trip and came upon your review. I love balconies - but our next 2 trips are "window" cabins.
I liked the different ports that HAL visits. Thanks for your review.

What fun your review was! I laughed at the Mojito class. We were on Adventure of the Seas and did the Martini making class.... WHOA - more than your money's worth!
We haven't been on Oasis or Allure - but it sounds like we need to go!
Thanks for your thoughts!

Great review - I couldn't see yesterday's pictures either -I need to look into this cruise though - looks fun!

That is a tough time to be leaving - Puerto Rico had the LONGEST lines for the security screening that we had ever seen (my husband is a TSA Security officer) - so I would say you will need quite a bit of time for the lines...
I would suggest touring Old San Juan - but not sure what you would do w/your luggage. We will be on Jewel In Feb. 2014.
We are newbie cruisers sailing on Jewel of the Seas from San Juan in January. Love this website for all it's hints and tips. We are flying out on disembarkation day at 14.10 which is too early for any RC trips and as our final destination is the UK don't think we can use the luggage service. Any tips for things to do as TA not being any help or should we just head to the airport? -
Thanks for the review - we are going on the other itinerary in Feb!
-
Great start - looking forward to reading the rest!

Great review! The Allure looks like FUN! Always had a feeling it would be too large for me - but I enjoyed your review!
-
I am also looking forward to reading your review!

Great review - thanks for all you hard work! We were on Valor in 2008 - great ship.

Sounds like UK would be a good choice - I would love to do that!

I am on the same roll call as Sheila831 - and in my travels around the board - I noticed you & Tracy on the 8/24 voyage.... I did pout for a minute - it would have been fun to meet you (you guys are famous!!) Have a great time on your cruise!

Unfortunately we are sailing on the 24th. Have a wonderful cruise. :) -
Sounds like I need to bring my plastic Carnival glass w/me on my upcoming cruise!!
I sure missed those Carnival "glasses" on our May Ecstasy cruise, they were noticeably no longer available  -and the replacement was not nearly as tasty going down the hatch! Nice to see some ships still have them, it is like a ritual on a cruise. Maybe now that Bob is back the glasses will return.Looking forward to your additional photos. It is so refreshing to see how crazy you and your bride are about each other! Carry on!

Do I really want My Time Dining?
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
We've had My Time Dining 3 times now & on the last trip we asked for the same table with Kristian and his assistant waiter. I think the longest we had to wait was 10 minutes.
I believe the waiters appreciate the loyalty!
