  1. Discman213...we also used seeamalficoast dot com. We've travel a lot and this was the best excursion we have ever done. Beside visiting Pompeii and driving along the Amalfi coast we had the most amazing lunch up on the mountain above the coast. After that we spent some time in Sorrento. I set up this tour on my Roll Call and there were so many people interested that I actually was able to organize 3 vans: 24 people. It is a little expensive for just 2 people (IMO) so getting a group together is cheaper and more fun. Also you can request a private guide for Pompei. Well worth it! Enjoy if you do it.

  2. We will be taking our first Azamara cruise this coming May. At that time we will be Elite with Celebrity. Nowhere on Azamara site can I find the names of the levels, the points needed and perks for LCV. Can anyone help?

  3. We've done both and I think it's a real toss up. Blue is the real highlight of Aqua. The cabins and amenities are not much different other than the great shower in Aqua. We connected with some great people at dinner in Blu on our last cruise. And what made it so exceptional were the fantastic waiters and wine stewards. And breakfasts there were wonderful. Next cruise we'll be back in Concierge and I look forward to a large table in the MDR and I expect that that the staff will be just as good as in Blu. Another plus: Aqua and Concierge both get 5 points per night towards Captain's Club levels. Whichever you do I don't think you'll be disappointed. Decide for yourselves and have a wonderful cruise [emoji3]

  4. There's no way you'll be turned away. Our last cruise was the Baltic last summer. It was a very hectic itinerary and one evening we got into the elevator and realized it was formal night. As we entered the MDR I told the host that we didn't realize it was formal night and he said no problem go on in. We were dressed pretty much as you and your husband were in the pictures (and we're a whole lot older). I was pretty embarrassed but it was definitely not a problem. We are off in 2 weeks to the Caribbean on Silhouette and my left foot is still quite swollen from foot surgery a couple of months ago. I'll be wearing thongs everywhere. Most are embellished and that is something you could do yourself to your "flip flops" if you feel the need. But I wouldn't waste my time worrying whether your shoes are appropriate. Just have a good time.

  5. Worked for me this morning for the first time in over 2 months. Last week my TA was able to find a way to get our express passes but nothing else. Just for the heck of it today I thought I would give it another try and (surprise, surprise) I was able to finally get our e-docs and order luggage tags. I'm finally a happy camper[emoji3]

  6. Yesterday I finally called Captains Club about my check-in problems. The agent put me on hold for about 2 minutes and came back politely telling me she couldn't get into my booking either. She said she would pass it along to IT. Checked my booking today and nothing has changed. It will now be my TAs problem.

  7. For more than a month now when I click on manage your reservation I get the familiar red print that says I can't access my reservation now but to check back in 20 minutes. It never goes away. It's a nuisance but I'll have my TA handle it when we get closer to our Feb cruise date. There have been things like this that have happened on every X cruise we have done since 2013. [emoji35]

  8. In the past when I have gone to my booking and clicked on Manage Your Reservation there is a notation that I will be able to get my luggage tags after the e-documents have been issued. What is noted now is that luggage tags are available approximately 2 months before cruise date and after final payment. Now there is nothing mentioned about e-docs. Anyone out there know anything about this? The first leg of our B2B departs Feb 14. Thanks

I am unable to edit the typo in the subject line. My auto correct is working overtime

  9. I don't know if canada is different then u.s. stores, but u.s. stores have "free" pickup for items ordered online. So you can buy items not stocked by local store.

i searched "magnetic clips' on walmart website and many came up.

I got mine on Amazon a couple of years ago.

  10. On our last cruise, the Baltic, our days were so full that we didn't realize it was a formal night. Usually my husband is in his tux and I wear a sparkly top and crepe bottom. This particular evening we got on the elevator to go to the MDR and it was full with people who were beautifully dressed. I immediately realize our mistake and thought we would not be seated. Husband did have on a sports jacket but I was in my non-formal night attire. One woman commented that we looked so nice. And I knew she was being sarcastic. Well, when we got to the dinning room the maitre'd said it was no problem. So in all our cruises that was the first time anyone had commented on our attire.

  11. I connected with some mahjongg players on our Roll Call and every afternoon we would play for a couple of hours. I saw lots of card and dominoes players. The Beyond the Podium presentations were good and although I can't sing we did attend the performance by the passenger choir. They were excellent. You will find so much to do that you won't be able to fit everything in. Have fun [emoji3]

  12. Hey Louise...I just found your review and you did a great job. The pictures are really good. I guess our October 2013 cruise on Reflection brought you back for more? It sounds like there some improvements since that one. Was it better? We just returned from a Baltic cruise on Silhouette and will be on her again in Feb for a Caribbean B2B. Then, hopefully, one on Constellation out of Venice next Sept. Maybe we'll cross paths again[emoji3]

  13. We did the ship's excursion last month that included the Vasa Museum. I would guess we spent at least an hour there. FYI...the museum is VERY crowded and VERY dark. There was a step down at one point that was unmarked and because of the crowds and darkness I missed it and fell. No damage other than some bruising but it was a little frightening. Hope you have a great honeymoon. This cruise was my favorite of 12.
