  1. Captains Club today advise me the US office is "limited in our knowledge and ability to assist with international reservations ".

Fact is I booked thru US Agency in Dania Beach Florida, minutes from Port Everglades, which I believe is still in the US ??

Celebrity Australia responded to a follow up message on FB and have sent them a private message - lets see what transpires ......

I'm in the States so what is their excuse for me?

  2. Computer 'code' is written/updated/enhanced and tested in a development/test area which is separate from the real/production area.

A migration is when that development code is 'migrated' to the production area.

Hopefully X has a good QA (Quality Assurance) team and the problems (bugs) were found prior to being migrated to production. BUT, give the never-ending problems we have found, either they don't have a QA team or it is woefully inadequate!

I MY code behaved anything like X's code.....I'd have been fired a looooong time ago!!!

Hey, Celebrity.....here's a great idea.....pick some people on CC and let them be beta testers! I'll bet they'd do it for free, just so they could point out the problems you are experiencing!

Thanks for the education :) I know nothing about code and development. That area of computing is like a foreign language to me.

  3. Hi all,

If you having any issues regarding our website, please email web_reservations_cci@celebritycruises.com or call 1-800-722-5941 with the following details:

    •
    • The website URL

    • Which computer you are using - PC, Mac or Mobile Device

    • Reservation number.

This will greatly help us troubleshoot the issue and create a better experience for you. Thank you!

OK, so I called the 800 number and spoke to someone who had no idea what I was talking about, implied I did not know how to use the site and didn't take note of the requested information. Total waste of time and she was rude besides. I only called because when I went to the indicated web address the message I got was that it was probably a phishing site. Sorry X but I'm unhappy again.

  4. I see there is another request from Celebrity with ANOTHER email address to send information about the website not being able to be accessed .

Having sent emails to concerns@....... and now being asked to send same again ??? to another address -- really ?

All I want to do is access my reservations and value add $$ to Celebrity , but I am still unable to do so . Sending more emails is a fruitless solution given that they already know the problem exists. Remaining

My emails, contrary to yours, have been successful. In fact, I received a phone call from the CEO's office yesterday to discuss my concerns. It's true I can't view my reservation but I have been able to book an excursion and have 3 more in my shopping cart. What I can't view is my cabin # and dinner seating but I have confirmation of those things from my travel agent. I think your email to concerns@celebrity.com is not the way to go. I suggest you use the other email address that X suggested to you. Good luck.

  5. Good for you Eddies Girl

I also emailed Concerns@Celebrity but got no response . I can see the reservation now but cannot access it to purchase anything -- frustration remains . I'm happy for you though.

In a way I'm not sure my email made a difference. I'm seeing quite a few posts that others are now able to get more access to some parts of the site. Can it be that there have been some repairs done? Actually today I looked at some excursions and added 3 to my cart. Also was able to look at specialty restaurants and am trying to decide which ones to do. May wait until we are on board. Sincerely hope you get more access. I feel your frustration. :)

  6. Our stop at Pompeii was first thing in the morning. It was Holloween, last year. The place was deserted. He had a private guide, arranged by seeamalficoast.com, who was wonderful. We absolutely never felt rushed. We got to Trattoria il Tagliata for lunch probably about 12:30, after our scenic drive along the Amalfi coast. Then a stop in Sorrento. It was an incredible day!

  7. I'm so frustrated that I just can't see the "cuteness" of this message. My entire reservation has now disappeared. No way to interact on the site at all. Can't even be confident that we're going on a cruise. Thank goodness we have a fantastic travel agent to intervene for us but unfortunately he can't fix Celebrity's IT problems.
