The food and drink is whatever you buy from the restaurant at each stop. If you buy anything at all.
I always get a blue margarita at coconuts and the coconut shrimp and a full size green iguana at Rastas. I have no idea what it cost. The margarita might have been $9, but by Rastas, I can't remember much LOL

Jealousie bay with spencer Ambrose in st Lucia. Island tour with Royston Tours in st kitts. And we really just enjoyed the Boatyard in Barbados, although the Catamaran trip with snorkeling with turtles is very popular.

If this premium access wifi supports music streaming and Skype, can you also use other apps with it. Like games?
Sorry, not tech savvy. Just trying to figure out how to make everyone happy.

Great review!
Is that Dr. Suess breakfast something you can sign up for before your cruise, or do you have to sign up when you board? We don't have kids and I have never even given it a thought, but seeing your pictures it is so cute. Might just go for the heck of it.:D

I kinda like the Blue Lagoon area. We stayed at Hampton Inn. Free airport shuttle. Shuttle to port was $10. Several drugs stores, restaurants, liquor store across the street.

My DH got that offer as well. He is only 53. Not quite at senior status, though I tell him to hurry up for that discount. LOL

Should be one regular chair and one chair that reclines slightly. Plenty of room to put your feet up on the little table or the other chair and nap. :)

Promenade/deck 2 doesn't have any staterooms on Legend.
Deck 6 and above extended balconies are not obstructed. The lifeboats are below you so if you look straight down you will see them, but that is the case for all decks for the extended balconies. Except the aft extended.

Wow, congrats to Ryan! Those free cruise offers from the players club will start rolling in if they haven't already ;).
We have been on Pride several times and are sailing again the end of next month. Can't wait to see the new additions in person, and I am so enjoying your review, thanks!

They come over for bar service and there is a bar in there. There may not be a special drink menu, but I'm sure you can order whatever you like.

The free upgrades aren't a future thing, it would have been applied at the time of booking. When you booked you could have taken a stateroom on deck 5, but maybe staterooms on up through deck 8 were included at no additional charge. Sometimes its only a 2 category upgrade, sometimes it can be all - say 8a thru 8f for the same price.

It's a private island. No cost for beach. All excursions done by cruise line. The beach is one long crescent. You choose whether you want a quiet more secluded spot or one with more activity.

I've had 3 upsell calls in the past year on 2 different cruises. In fact, I have had 2 in the last two weeks for the same upsell. I am booked in an extended balcony and they offered an ocean suite for $550 more. It would be $910 if I were to upgrade on my own. I declined the offer, and then a few days ago I got it again. Same offer...sorry, still no.

Did you notice if there were any for other occupancy numbers? Like if I check for cabins for 2 passengers it shows only 2 available, but if I look for cabins for 4 it shows many more. I noticed that for our 5/31 cruise they are holding tight to occupancy requirements and not opening the cabins so that 2 people can book a 4 person cabin. Seems a little strange when there are only 45 days until we sail.

Actually my concern is sun. I have skin problems and need to avoid it as much as possible. I have a cove on port side for the TA Europe to NY. Any suggestions will be welcomed. Thank you.
I haven't stayed in a cove, but seeing where they are on the other dream class ships it seems you are shaded by both the overhang of the lifeboats and the hull enclosure.
Maybe someone who has sailed in one can help you with how much sun you might get out there.

No reservations. You might be thinking about RCI, I don't think Carnival ever offered that for YTD.

They are 2 very different things. Steakhouse is a nice dinner with a $35pp additional charge. Chef's table is an on-ship excursion that gets you a 7 course dinner with wine, champagne and appetizers, galley tour, photos with the chef for $75. Depends what you want to experience.

my price is actually up $100 with this "sale"
-
I assumed we are talking about the TA, since that was the title. For the most part it will be headed west.

I see this sale on my cruise, but it is guarantee only. Good for last minute

IMO, spirit class have the best layout. Miracle and Pride are 2 of my favorite ships. They are so easy to navigate- just one dining room, no up and down levels trying to get around the galleys. Good size and rarely seem crowded.

11:30 is doable, but don't use the ship transport. Arrange your own. You can't afford to wait until the bus fills up. We did that once and got to check in quite late. Luckily the line was short.

Port side is supposed to be the sunnier side if you want the heat on the balcony during the day.

I bring cash for spending in port for the most part.
And like the previous poster I bring 2 cards. One for the S&S and one for pre cruise hotel, and other spending should i need it. That way an issue on land doesn't screw my whole trip up.

OMG yes - can't stand that - and it makes me very uneasy. I don't care where I sit as long as I don't have to have this. Put me in the corner next to the galley and I could be good as long as everyone and their brother can't walk up behind me. ;)
