Unfortunately there haven’t been any reports about Long Beach yet. Hoping to see some next week when the Splendor returns from her MR cruise.

Same! Hope we see lots of reviews!

Has was glacier viewing? Our first timers Alaska it was t-shirt and shorts weather and Glacier Bay was fogged in. As white as the page.
It was great! No fog & chilly. I did the tour that takes you up to the glacier. Very windy & awe inducing! Will definitely do it again.

We cruised Alaska in early July & it was perfect. The day we were in Skagway it was 85 degrees.
Our favorite cruise to date.

I've read a review that states there's a food truck closeby but I can't say for sure. I think there's a café inside the Queen Mary, as well.

Laundry room locations are towards the bottom of the list.

Thank you! That's very helpful. Couldn't find on the deck plan.

Hopefully someone will post one soon :D

You can pre-book with Seavis.
The Saona excursion was beautiful & worth it. We had no problems in La Romana, but I'm a PR native. Nothing wrong to me but it's been a few years.

What he said. If you're looking for a cheaper way there, you can take the Light Rail downtown & then catch Ubers/Cabs.

We used Seattle Express from the port to airport.

Last time we cruised out of Seattle we stayed at the Hilton in Bellevue. We obviously had a car & found it convenient. We were able to visit the sights outside of the city (visit Snoqualmie!) & getting around was a breeze.
Also, the car rental company shuttled us to port after returning the car.

I haven't been on Carnival in a year & a half, but I've only seen this on MSC.

We are thinking of doing this as well and have found a lot of great reviews on another website that rhymes with blip surmiser. ;)

I'm off to read reviews on both companies

I’ve rented a car in Seattle, driven to Vancouver & then come back. Easy drive , you might have an added fee for returning at a different location but very doable.

Beach is free. Chairs are to whomever gets there first.

We stayed at the Marriott a couple of blocks from the fisherman’s wharf. Easy walk to the wharf & the crookedest street & we used public transportation to everything else.

I think they allow the free tour if you are a guest of the hotel.

Here's the forum for Freedom Roll Calls.

If you can't find it there, create the new thread in that forum.

You have to set this up in the Roll Call area.

There is a comedy club, all ships have them. They usually do two shows per night in that specific lounge.
I know there's a wine bar, piano bar, casino, karaoke, etc.
This is a good place to see what's available on the ship: https://www.carnival.com/onboard/bars
Select Splendor.

We pre-arranged with Seatlle Express. Their first shuttle leaves the port @ 7:30am. Made our 11:35am flight with time to spare.

I'm looking at Vallarta Food Tours & Vallarta Eats. A preference between the two?

First time to Cabo & we’re considering doing an ATV tour.
We’re in port from 10 - 7.
ATV tour states it starts at 12 & lasts 3.5 hours.
If we return to the port around 4pm, would we have enough time to take a glass bottom boat to the Arch before tendering back to the ship?
Thanks!

You must cruise some time other than summer, as well. There is barely any dark time during the summer months.
Carnival & FTTF
in West Coast Departures
Posted
For the first time, we're not purchasing FTTF & we're cruising in June. Would love to hear of your experience once you sail.
