There is an texting thing that you can text to other people on the ship.
You must buy it for $5. Each person who want to use this must buy it for $5
Then there a texting thin in the hub that you use

On the Dream, the playoffs games on Sunday we’re on the Big Screen and on in some of the bars. I was in the casino. The casino bar had it on most of its tv and it was on one or two tv down the casino

Cookies were good. Don’t know if I am happy with paying for it

Social will give you Facebook type of apps. But no real internet. If you have a slots app that must used internet it will not work on social. Next one up is $10 a day and slots app should work also e mail
At times I messagner will work on Social but sometimes it screws up the phone and it locks you out and you can not unlock your phone until you get a internet link. Happen to me twice

I am not sure myself, but I think you had to take it for the full cruise.
But then again I wanted it for the full cruise
-
In all my cruises I only had a unknown table mate once.
The woman started to get sea sick during dinner. What kinder get contagious to me. Personally had to get out of there
-
I just get disappointed, that all the cruise lines, are trying to get the last dollar from all of us. I know you don’t have to do room service, you can go to buffee and get something.
But being on a cruise used to make you feel like royalty. Being serviced in dinning room. Have your room made up and get turn down at night. Getting room service, seeing shows and production shows
It’s just seems they are take this away one thing at a time.
Just my vent for the day
Thank you

Even when the Dream is full of people. There is no long lines, except for First Day where all the ship are crazy.
-
They should have or make salad dressing that is ok Four you to use.
Just take to someone in dinning room and they will put it aside for you
There so much food on the ship you will never go hungry
-
Another one. Wanting to see new menu. Leaving next Sunday
-
Always got cash. Any of the games you play and win you get casino cash it’s out into your account and you gave to play it
-
You are going into the Gulf of Mexico. The waters in the Gulf are always warm. Bye the time you get up, you are going to be south enough to be in warm weather
-
Only works on the ship you are on. This does not go to satellite system
-
People back home must be on Facebook or Snapchat. Already set up in there phone and know how to use Facebook and Snapchat. Then you can communicate with them. On the social plan
-
Phone calls on Facebook, yes, sometimes you can. And sometimes you can’t. Carnival will tell you no. Just the luck of the internet gods
-
On some ships there is a $5 a phone plan that you can text Any phone on the ship. It has its own texting app. So if you and wife pay $5 each you can text each other the whole cruise. We were two couples and that was the way we kept in touch.
-
To get live streaming you mostly likely have to go with the top internet plan
And then I really do not know how well it will work. Going through the satellite the internet is slow at best

All bars have premium liquors. There no spreed rack liquors.
Talking normal premium,

There is a fixed price for taxi to take you to the ship. For two people with tip it’s like $20 $16 for two and $4 tip because they are handling the bags.
It’s get hot in NOLA. At least you arrive like a person. Not a dripping mess
-
If you leave your data ON. It will hooked with the ships satellite service.
People have $1000 cell phone charges when they get home. Every time it down loads a email it’s like $5. If you turn off data. And hook up with ship WiFi and used on of there plans you kno the cost.
-
It looks like the old menu. The one from November 2016.
I can’t tell what change.
-
It’s the experience!! Food very good, not great. Does not compare to a great restaurant on land. It’s all the wine you can drink, but once again not great wines. Mostly likely $18 a bottle at home.
You get to talk with other people at the table. It’s a ice breaker for all.
Doing chef tables I remember a bunch of great people, having fun with them as much as the food.
-
I would get off of Deck 1. There is a old saying. S*it flows down. And deck 1 is down. Also some ports they have people leave th ship and return on deck 1

If you asked for wheelchair assistance. The have people to push wife up to the ship. They need fit people to do that. Don’t want family members doing that. She is put on a computer list so they know about her. She can sit outside the muster station. Where you can hear the instructions. And will assign people to get her in case of emergency. Also get her off of the ship at the end of cruise if she still needs it.
Carnival Hub App
