If you leave your data ON. It will hooked with the ships satellite service.
People have $1000 cell phone charges when they get home. Every time it down loads a email it’s like $5. If you turn off data. And hook up with ship WiFi and used on of there plans you kno the cost.

It looks like the old menu. The one from November 2016.
I can’t tell what change.
-
It’s the experience!! Food very good, not great. Does not compare to a great restaurant on land. It’s all the wine you can drink, but once again not great wines. Mostly likely $18 a bottle at home.
You get to talk with other people at the table. It’s a ice breaker for all.
Doing chef tables I remember a bunch of great people, having fun with them as much as the food.

I would get off of Deck 1. There is a old saying. S*it flows down. And deck 1 is down. Also some ports they have people leave th ship and return on deck 1

If you asked for wheelchair assistance. The have people to push wife up to the ship. They need fit people to do that. Don’t want family members doing that. She is put on a computer list so they know about her. She can sit outside the muster station. Where you can hear the instructions. And will assign people to get her in case of emergency. Also get her off of the ship at the end of cruise if she still needs it.

You will hear about any chance in menu. Even with the last change. The food did not change that much. Many of the old items stayed on the new menu.

If you are going to NOLA, you have to stay in the French Quarters. It’s a one in a life time experience. You may not get any sleep. But you will always remember that night
-
I know a regular taxi at the airport to French Quarters for two people is like $38. The taxi are mini vans. So I know 4 people can fit, they may Harv bigger cabs. It’s a fix rate. Like $25 for our and $6 each additional. The Uber can not pick up at airport. Maybe two cabs.
From french Quarters to ship is also a fix rate. It like $16 for two. I normally give a $20 for going to ship. Because of luggage, traffic at ship
-
You should really try a test run to see if you can handle the suite cases, back packs and anything else you are taking off the ship. You have to go down the gang way, across to customs and then out

I know as of last year there is a 15 a day limited on DOU card. Really don’t know why you are getting cheers if you have a DOU Card.
DOU Card can ONLY be used if you a playing a table game or slots.
The Bar servers used a special charging machine that will not charge DOU Card people. You. An not use a DOU car at the bar. It will charge you.
I get the feeling Carnival does not want us to drink more then 15 drinks a day.

Cucina Del Capitano Does a great white clam sauce and you can add shrimps to it. Then add the pasta you want, add bread and salad too
Have fun, I do.
Atleast this is cooked fresh, it’s not sitting on the buffet. We trytohit it atleast twice on a cruise
-
Going to become plantinum mid cruise on our next cruise in January.
-
Unless you get 4 $ 10 mix drinks a day, and some coffees, water, it’s not worth it IMHO. Unless you drink a combo of drinks equal around $50 a day
You are just giving the cruise line your money.
If you have a drink every two to three hours, wine for diner drinks at te show you should easily get to five drinks
-
Laundry it’s so nice, you can pack and deal with less laundry because irs wash on ship
-
Social internet will give you the Facebook, Twitter type apps. For some reason some push notices and sometime
iMessage will work, you can message though Facebook .
No internet, no e mail and sometimes phone screws up because you are iMessage with out phone internet so Apple closes you down. Until you get internet to reset your account
-
It’s actually in the computer system. The drinks comes up $.00
Only allowed 15 per day and it keeps track of all drinks

The casino cage has a your voucher. You get it sign it and get cash.
You get, both in the room, free drinks when you are playing. There gifts, food. But there something that goes on every night in the casino. 8 pm to 11 pm. Where you have to be there to win mainly money. As they will call a seat number and if you are there you win. Call your name, have to go up to win . You WILL spend a lot of time in the casino. You need 2000 points for the slot tournament.
What New is you are only allowed 15 drinks a day
-
Yes you will, it will be in your cabin. If you can get some perks for yourself, go for it. You can asked for a Comp diner in the steak house ect, paid restaurants If you earn enough points
-
Free drinks are only from servers at tables or slots, servers can not take orders if you are sitting at a table. You must be playing
-
They really don’t have speed rack liquor. To them it doesn’t matter what you order. Unless it really top stuff
-
Unless you are very lucky $300 isn’t going to get you much. To get a drink card it’s 1500 points or $4500 in slot machine.
Used cash, so you can keep track of your winnings and or lost. SS card must be in machine and you cash out onto cars then go to the cage and Tuen it into cash.

No worries of missing flight, taxi getting a flat etc

There is a fixed price for taxi to take you to the ship. For two people with tip it’s like $20 $16 for two and $4 tip because they are handling the bags.
It’s get hot in NOLA. At least you arrive like a person. Not a dripping mess
