I called and cancelled our Mediterranean trip for Sept. prior to final payment even though we were technically covered by Peace of Mind . We received a full refund within 3 weeks . Our airline had cancelled our flight as well Made me sad but had to do it. First time ever . We have since booked a March trip to French Polynesia . Hope that works out .

We were paid in full for the 9/20/2020 Getaway trip out of Rome . We used a Cruise Next certificate as a deposit . Everything was refunded . The Cruise Next certificate was back in my My NCL account in less than a week .

Okay. So we cancelled our September 2020 Mediterranean cruise . We were just fine with a FCC . Just didn't want tp lose our money . ( No fiscal judgement please ) . As it turned out we were refunded for the cruise in less than 3 weeks. Still happy with NCL and planning to cruise March and possibly in the Fall once itineraries shake out .

Still awaiting our FCC . I spoke with my PCC yesterday and was told it probably was going to take a couple of more weeks as NCL is swamped .We canceled Apr. 1 and originally was told 7 business days . My cruise next certificate was returned in 2 days . Guess I'll just to watch and call again .Really would like to have this all settled .

We received our Cruise Next certificate in my account 2 days after cancellation. We are awaiting the FCC.

We are booked for the French Polynesia cruise next March . Given the current situation we made the difficult decision to cancel our September Mediterranean cruise for 2020.

We just cancelled our Sept. Med cruise but have booked the March French Polynesia cruise . Hope all is well for everyone by then .

Our first time to Rome we used NCL hotels . Pre cruise we stayed at the Crowne Astor . It is convenient to the Vatican but further out from other sites eg. the Colosseum . They do offer a shuttle for a few Euros . Keep in mind the cruise line charges per person . Post cruise we stayed at the Hilton Airport which was very convenient . I think it depends on your level of comfort when booking stays independently .

We just got the same message . First time for that . We never have nor do we now need any assistance . Thought it to be unusual but things are always changing . Maybe they have some liability concerns.

We did that last Fall . I believe the trip was @15 to 20 minutes each way The fare was a fixed price of $ 8 each way .
-
With the 30% "discount" some cruises are . For example, our Med cruise was booked at $2599 for a BC balcony . Same balcony with discount is $3689 . Now cabins prices can fluctuate until final payment b to show cost before "discount" to have risen to $5500 + and put a slash through that price is just silly . In checking 2021 trips I'm not seeing that . We've sailed NCL for 13 years and have seen prices vary but this promotion is reminiscent of buying the Brooklyn Bridge .

We elected to take a cab this time from Logan . Found that the taxi price was within $1 of Uber . Keep in mind this was solely from the airport . When we stayed elsewhere in the Seaport we have used the free Silver line and it was fine . I guess it also depends on the number of bags and if it's easy for you to handle them .

We used Hotwire to book the end of Oct. 2019 . We stayed at the Yotel . The room was very small but extremely functional . Every inch of space was efficiently used . Very clean and staff was pleasant and helpful . Cost was @ $ 225 for a Thursday night stay . It;s a Seaport location .

Hopefully you didn't experience any significant delay. The construction for the west bound direction of the span is to continue until May . We traveled it the end of Oct. in the early afternoon and traffic was ok . Eastbound was fine.

It was. When you get off the ship you walk through the shopping area . At the end of the area make a left and there is a fleet of buses . Price is posted . The driver clearly stated how often we could get a bus back . If I remember they did a run back every 30 minutes but they will tell you .
-
We took one of the open air buses to Cane Garden Bay .Cost was $8 pp each way . They had facilities with chair rentals . There were a number of places to eat and drink on the beach . Very scenic drive and our driver narrated what we were seeing . Water and beach were really nice.
-
You can get one in Tortola at the end of the new shopping area . They have posted rates . We took one in October to Cane Garden Bay . It was $ 8 pp each way.
-
I stand corrected . That was not our experience but things change .

Of the two MDR, the smaller allows shorts . Specialty restaurants ask that long trousers be worn .

We have only been allowed to have the partitions opened once on NCL . That was on a transatlantic on the Epic 2 years ago.

Just came back from a 14 day on the Gem . We started out in a deck 11 inside and watched prices on the gty balcony and availability so that we would have a sense as to location . So an additional $150 pp + all the promotional perks ended up in a deck 8 fwd . balcony . It was a quiet location with no issues . We have done this 2 other times and the balcony locations were good . Hope your recovery continues well and you are soon up and about .
