I will definitely take pictures and post them with our review and observations. There will be 7 of us in the cabana, so we have to pay for/add an additional person to the reservation once we are onboard. Let’s see how easy that process is as well. This will be the 1st time in many years DH and I are cruising with our adult children and my mom and cousin, so it will be interesting to be able to report back from the 20 something through and 80 year old person’s perspective.

I thought the price was the same, regardless of 2 people or 7... as long as you don't exceed the maximum capacity

The Museum was small but packed with a lot of things including a recreation of a typical Japanese house in the 1800's. I really enjoyed it and it was free. They did have a small layout of gifts as you walked in and I picked up several small items which they packagedin an origamibag made from newspaper.  They were also doing a little tea ceremony as well.

I like using the Hub App. I can click where I want to go and it tells me the deck and which direction. I also use the maps around the ship as well. I used to love the trifold maps but I'm okay without them.

thank you... this was info i was hoping to see from this thread.

Chris is getting the rental truck all loaded up, gassed up, and ready for our early departure tomorrow morning. Now, I know I should be grateful the insurance company is allowing us to take it on the trip, but darn it…why’s it gotta be a Ford? First world problem I know, but we are Dodge people. So I’m saying this prayer before the trip:

Dear Lord, please give us safe travels to FL. We’ve had enough bad luck with vehicles, and even tho Geico had the nerve to “grace” us with this lowly Ford, we are grateful. Give this hunk of aluminum the strength and power to transport us safely and efficiently to and from our destination, and then it can die in the Enterprise parking lot upon our return. Amen.

Sorry any Ford people out there…I was raised in a die-hard Chevy family, and when I decided to rebel and bought a Ford, it was the only vehicle to leave me stranded…more than once! After that I went to a Chevy, which I loved, but when it was time to replace it I fell in love with Red, my old Dodge. I test drove a Chevy and Red, and, well, you know who won. I loved that truck, and cried when I traded her in for Maze.

But anyway…this post has gotten off track. It was just meant to say, the Hubs is packing the truck up, and tomorrow is travel day! Yahoo! Cross your fingers, toes, eyes, and whatever else that the Ford gets us to our destination safely!

hopefully this one will redeem FORDs for you!

@ARcruisin2 said on my last live review that we needed pony pictures when I bid them goodbye for the duration of my trip. So, without further ado, I introduce to you all Lily (black), Latte (big white stripe down her face), Princess (Hershey brown with a star), and my spicy redhead Flirt. Flirt is the only one who is really mine, the rest are my mom’s, although since Flirt was so sick I’ve kinda taken over Lily for my riding horse.

    Annnnnnd we’re off!

5:00 came early, ugh I do not like getting up in the mornings! I got all the critters taken care of and took off to mum’s about 5:47. KatiePuff made me feel soooo guilty, mewing and purring and batting at my legs. 😔 I promised her I’d be home in 9 days to snuggle her.

Fed the ponies their breakfast and we were off by 6:26! We just crossed the SC border. Hopefully this trip will be less eventful than the last!

I think we're going to need pony send off pictures to kick off your next review🐎

  7. I would agree on suggestion of using a travel agent...an actual person you can talk with.

You can set them up as point of contact for everyone in group to provide their information and payments, travel documents, everything. I've read some painful experiences here of people trying to coordinate a big group. That takes the awkwardness and responsibility for that off of your shoulders.

Also, I believe the discount, like one person free or something, starts at 8 cabins through Carnival Groups dept. You can deal with the groups dept yourself, but i would assume a TA would best help herd the cats and remind everyone of deadlines, etc.
