1. You don't schedule those. They will contact you with the date/time. As D we have had one entertainment tour. The rest of our trips haven't had them, so don't hold your breath that it will happen. It might, but it might not. Some things are hit or miss. Our Vision cruise in 3 weeks will be our first as D+ and we'll see what we actually have happen.

Ok, thanks. I never got a call about the entertainment back stage tour on any cruises I took as a Diamond. :(

  2. I haven't been on the Allure or Oasis in a few years and am booked in 29 days. Was getting ready to schedule entertainment and a specialty restaurant and had a couple of questions.

    1. It says I cannot book the comedy show, I need to check on line. Is that because it is sold out or are they not booking that on-line these days.

    2. Are formal nights on the 2nd and 5th night?

  3. Hello,

I just made Diamond Plus and will be taking my first cruise with that status on the Allure in a few weeks. I remember on the Freedom class there was a separate section in the main dining room for Diamond members and we enjoyed it because the line was not as long for breakfast. Is there somewhere Diamond Plus members can go to get the normal dining room breakfast without the long lines?

I appreciate any help you can offer, didn't find that particular question in the previous post.

  4.

Thanks, Bob. No problem on carrying the extra key, just didn't want anyone to use it accidently and cause charges to the wrong account.[/quote

My sister's & I did this on the Brilliance & to make it easier we had guest services punch a hole in the "spare" card...attached the card to a wrist lanyard & we were good to go. Made it easy to pull out the right card for charges & for getting on & off the ship...
Good idea, thanks a bunch Karen.
  5.
Nothing you can do about it now. Depends on Guest Services on board the ship. I've read that sometimes they can simply re-key your SeaPass card for the stateroom you want, but most of the time it seems they say they cannot (or won't) do that and just give you an extra key to the stateroom you want.

The extra key card is the same size as the SeaPass card. It does not seem like a huge deal to me to have to carry an extra card in order to save several hunded dollars. I'd carry 10 extra cards to save several hundred dollars.:)
Thanks, Bob. No problem on carrying the extra key, just didn't want anyone to use it accidently and cause charges to the wrong account.
  6. Can someone help clarify this for me. My husband and I just made Diamond Plus and we booked a cruise with my son and his friend to celebrate my son getting out of the Marines. For the first time ever, we booked my husband in one cabin and me in the other to get the maximum discount. Someone mentioned getting extra keys but that would mean some of us would have to carry two keys. Is there another way to do it so that we don't have to carry two keys, one tied to our credit card and one to get into the correct cabin? Our cruise is only about 6 weeks out and we need to go ahead and do on-line check in. I appreciate any help and more detailed explanation.
