I couldn't leave any sooner as work does get in the way! Princess arranged the flight & transfer with EZ air so we'll see. Fingers crossed. 🤞 Judy

Spectacular cathedrals! Nothing here to compare with old Europe! Of course the National Cathedral in D. C. is breathtaking & others in other Diocese's I've never visited I'm sure are worthy of mention. However we are a younger country & many cathedrals & basilicas are more modern. For instance the newer cathedrals in the Los Angeles & Orange County are special but very modern. The Cathedral in Orange County was acquired from the famous Crystal Cathedal of TV fame, Rev. Schuller. I didn't mean to crash your "Live". I am so enjoying reading along & imagining I'm with you & Debbie. Keep it up. We're with you!! 😉💒 Judy

We are currently planning a tour to the Tuscan towns. A few months ago, we were planning the train to Pisa & Lucca. I found train schedules in the app Trenitalia. It looks easy enough to do on your own. Train station is the Livorno Centrale

Debby & Rafael, Rest well tonight. Melatonin may help. Hope your flight is good & you can sleep well aboard!! We leave non-stop out of LAX on Alitalia Wed the 22nd, the day before Thanksgiving!! 😬. The worst day of the year to fly, but Princess had arranged it, so they are responsible.... I think we all need to give Bob a little extra space ie his small honest errors! It's ok to make corrections but remember he generously has been dealing with answering the "live" Cruise Critic questions, his feeling rather poorly due to his cold as well as his wife's poor health. This cruise obviously has been so important to them & it was rather spoiled by circumstances. He still has been positive. How important is it to emphasize his mistakes? Maybe in a softer manner!! Thank you Bob & Holli for sharing your time so generously. We all have lived vicariously by your reports.

I too feel I was over confident that I wouldn't again get Covid. I had Covid at it's peak in Dec. 2020 plus then was fully vaccinated with the 2 boosters. I became sick but my friend who shared my stateroom with stayed negative & well. I spoke to a physician by phone the day after my isolation was started to request Paxlovid. He told me the Med Center had totally run out of Paxlovid & they wouldn't get a new supply until we reached the Southampton port. Lessons learned! 🙏

I did have the Princess insurance but I was told Princess is providing this FCC, not AON. Where do you find that link on the insurance site? I do thank you for your info.

Yes I do have this letter also & I have the 5 pages of the Ship's Med Center & doctor's report. I have another cruise booked for Nov & even my travel agent can't get an affirmative from Princess! Go figure... 😬

Has anyone been able to have the Princess promised FCC given for the isolation days applied to a future cruise? I have been in frequent touch with the Princess Customer Service center "off shore". They know nothing about this & cannot or will not give me a phone number to talk to an official in Santa Clarita. Any advice or help will be appreciated.
