Thank you, Viking!! I have been watching (even begging!) for this for ages.
Malta, Morocco & the Mediterranean - Roundtrip Barcelona - Cruise Overview (vikingcruises.com)
For my money, just a perfect mix of brand new ports and old favorites, with an overnight in Valetta. We will be there!
I agree with Valetta! We have been wanting to visit there for a while. An overnight would be perfect.

I just order the bottled water online, it’s $9.95 for a 12 pack and will be waiting for you in your cabin. Each person in your party can bring a 12 pack of canned drinks. It can’t be in your checked luggage it has to be with you as you board. You can also bring more 12 packs of soda on board at each port.
I didn't know you could bring more on board at the ports -thanks for the info.

They sell the stuff on the flea market in Labadee!
LOL. I know airlines send lost luggage to a market in Alabama, but didn't know what ships did.

Cobblestones are not your suitcases' wheels friend! We lost two wheels several years ago and don't do that anymore.

Enjoying the review.

I have enjoyed your review. We are looking at sailing on the Serenade next year. You covered the ports on your review but didn't say much about the ship and I was wondering what you thought of the ship itself.
We were on the Serenade last year and enjoyed it, but it is starting to show its age - 15. I heard that it might be scheduled for dry dock and referb, but can't confirm it.

Like many others, I have enjoyed your reviews. Have you decided where you are going to post your upcoming Princess review?

Thanks for taking the time to post this info.

Enjoying the photos.

Sailed Princess too much? We'll let you know if that day ever comes. Don't hold your breath. :D
Good one!:D

Nice review. Your St. Kitts tour sounds amazing.

The waffles in the Lido are Belgian. They are a good size and have lots of nooks and crannies for syrup(I prefer the fruit sauces they have, though.)
Yes to the Belgian waffles with the fruit!:D

You may be thinking of La Defense. I remember visiting it when I was in France.
Is this it?
That's the one. If you don't mind I will save the picture.

Hi-Husband and I love to meet new people when we are cruising. We also like to sit with people for dinner. Our last experience doing that wasn't great. The people were rude, racist, and just all-around horrors. We couldn't get away from them fast enough. Then of course we would see them all over the ship and they would want to stop and talk to us..we would just say quick "hello, how is your day?" and keep moving.
We want to be able to sit with others again..but now we are a little nervous about it.
We gave up on fixed seating years ago and now opt for anytime dining. That way the worst that can happen if you cannot get along with your tablemates is one meal. On several occasions we have met really great people and scheduled our anytime meals together.

It doesn't appear very large, but it looks like a very pleasant space with great views.
My initial thoughts as well.

you’re not really in trouble until you’re posting this using the online wifi.

Love your posts. The building with "holes" in them are built for feng shui. This way the good energy is not blocked by the building.
My husband is from Hong Kong and I've been there 8x in the last 23 years. We are on this same cruise but in reverse (HK to Singapore) in January. Can't wait.
I never would have thought of that. Now that you mention it, I think I remember seeing a building in Paris that had a "hole" in it. I wonder if it is the dame thing?

I have no problem with peace and quiet. I like to sit and read, and the music would be annoying. I see more people reading poolside than sleeping.
We also just relaxing around the pool and reading...and maybe a little people watching.:D

Enjoyed the photos.

Unpack. Eat. And if it is a new ship, we take a tour and see where everything is. If not a new ship, we make a drink and enjoy the balcony.

I hear you.
Airfares can be a significant deterrent to additional cruising. Sometimes, you can book a TA for less than the airfare to Europe.
Ain't that the truth!:D

Yes, the various food venues will be open even in poor weather.
Part of the cruise may include scenic views, so that will influence where I would be. If out of sight of land, I will go to some of the enrichment lectures in Princess Theater. We will probably pray bridge some of the day. Most of all we will be at trivia.
We take in the lectures also in the theater.
