Once around the ship is 1/3 of a mile (assuming the "proper" promenade deck of ships before Royal)
Assume walking speed about 3 miles an hour
You burn around 250 calories walking one hour
So: 9 laps takes one hour and burn 250 calories
Therefore one lap will burn: let's generously round it up to 30 calories.
Therefore... don't even THINK of going to the buffet after just one or two laps;p
LOL...no soup for you!:D

Some may be overly sensitive about being called dishonest. :D
I was kinda thinking the same thing.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed them. The one you mentioned is one of my favorites as well. It was on the Norwegian Dream when we rammed a Japanese ship and sent brand new cars and cargo containers crashing into the ocean. it was noted that we now held the record for the most Japanese tonnage sunk 1945.:D
A link to that review is in my signature.
Jack
One of my favorites also.

There was a warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream served in Chic on the B menu.
OK..now I have to go in the kitchen and see if we have chocolate and ice cream!:D

All the time but people do get through, they usually don't bother people on the first night but remind them it is not acceptable on subsequent nights. Also, occasionally you see the person who did not get their luggage.
I agree with you about the first night...much looser requirements.

I want to go parasailing in Cabo! Beautiful pics.

So I'm confuzzled........................
Your location says "Atlanta" but you refer to yourself as being from "British Columbia, Canada?"
Inquiring minds want to know.....................
(A great read by the way)
Company I was working for transferred me to Atlanta. A little warmer down here but it plays heck trying to get the Canucks on ESPN sometimes!:D

Those pool deck pictures look so strange without people in them...
I thought the same thing.

I hope they still give them out...we always keep them as a souvenir of the trip.

So what was your favorite port?

Seriously LOOOOOVING this trip review!! I haven't cruised on Carnival in awhile but have been thinking about it SOLELY for the burgers...Guy's Burgers. They look SO good!
Keep it coming girl...you crack me up!

Thanks to another recent post I contacted the Breeze requesting a reservation for two during my birthday celebration cruise this coming August. I have wanted to do this on previous cruises but never tried to get reservations. It's a lot of money.
Our reservation was confirmed earlier this evening. I am so excited!
Enjoy!

Thanks for your review. This is an amazing place. Hopefully, time will dull the bad experiences and you will only remember the joy of visiting Machu Picchu.

Yes, they will do it onboard by collecting our passports. That's not the problem. The problem is Princess is overcharging for the visa. It should only be $5 plus a $1 card fee, not $45 plus the $1 fee. Vietnam changed the fee in January 2015 for cruise passengers taking organized tours overland.
Interesting. Thanks for posting this. I wonder how Princess will respond.

Fun pics, thanks.

By having fewer stewards do more rooms, Carnival can pay less employees. Which means more $ for their bottom line. Until guests start to complain to corporate (instead of to the stewards) they will otherwise assume their formula works and it will become the status quo on all of their ships.
Unfortunately, I think you are correct.

Enjoyed the photos...thanks.

Can't agree more. We have used the same agent for over 20 years' date=' and she saves us money every time we travel. It's nice to have an advocate in our corner esentially for free, since it costs no more to book with her than to book direct.[/quote']
Same here...same travel agent and saved a bundle.
