I got the email today, but it definitely isn't coming up free for me, not sure why. It says my casino savings have been applied, but it still wants to charge me for the cruise. Definitely not complimentary, unfortunately! Oh, well, we have our free 9 night coming up in a few weeks - I'll enjoy that one! Not sure why it said complimentary, and sounds like others have gotten it to work for them.

I just want to warn people about the 15 day limit for requesting the shareholder benefit. I know this is completely on me, but I just want to be sure that people are aware. I submitted my request 13 days prior to the cruise - we booked it last minute, and I hadn't gotten around to it. I got back a response today telling me that the request was denied because it was within the 15 days. So, better to do it sooner rather than later!

We spent a good amount of time at Maltings Bar, and we were not thrilled about the amount of cigar smoke that came into the bar. The cigar room is right there, and it blows in whenever the door opens.

A couple of comments - we were on the Easter cruise also. I agree, the pool was ridiculously small. I definitely agree that Howl at the Moon was underwhelming - I was looking forward to it so that was a disappointment. This was our first NCL cruise (D+ on RCL), and overall it was a good experience - we bought future cruise credits lol. I wish, however, that NCL had somehow been able to notify us that covid was spreading on the ship. Many on our FB page have tested positive (including us). Apparently many crew were testing positive, and I heard that the quarantine area was hopping (from someone with a cabin on that deck). Our cruise in late Feb on RCL was notable because crew members told us that the only place they were allowed to disembark was on the private island, where everyone was safe. I'm guessing that may not have been the case with NCL (although I have no idea). RCL's cleaning process was much superior to NCL (at that time, not sure now). I'm now picking up our kids and grand baby at WDW wearing a mask and unable to hold him for another couple of days. 😢😢
