  1. if you apply it against your cruise charge on the credit card I think you get $150.00 for every 10,000 points. That's 50% more than taking it as OBC. You can only take the credit one time for each eligible charge so search it all out before you actually complete the redemption.

  2. I'm not quite sure how you didn't know that if you don't book with the group than you don't get amenities of the group. I'm a TA and I always advocate for working with a TA for large groups. I'm sure this miscommunication would not have happened with a TA. If you all are past final payment I doubt that anything will change. This is sad.

  3. Hey guys I have 21.751 fun points and I'm sure I'll have more by my Breeze cruise in Nov, 2014. What's the best way to spend them? I see I can get $200 OBC with them. But I read in here that somehow people convert the points into cash. Is that by using it to pay off a portion of your cruise that's already been paid for with your Carnival CC? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also no offense but please spare me the remarks about gong with a better CC than the Carnival card. I'm content with my card.

  4. I feel like I've answered this question 100 times lol! I love new cruisers. Ok so DH and I generally budget $100 per person per day and then we always have one cheaply day where we try not to spend a lot. This is normally a sea day. We have never spent the full $100 a day but we like to have a cushion. We are over pictures plus I'm too lazy to search for them. We spend $$ at the steakhouse we have eaten there up to 3 times on a 7 day cruise once. We've also done Chefs Table and may try Behind the Fun. Also we've done the wine pairing. We also like the casino but no more than $20-$50 maybe 3 nights. We will usually have 1-2 drinks a day but I also pay for the fruit punch from the bar sometimes as it is delish. I also get the choco covered strawberries a couple times per week. We may play bingo 1-2x before a show. We never buy jewelry and really don't get souvenirs too much any more. Also we never book excursions with Carnival, either online in advance or at the port. Hope this helps and happy sailing.

  5. I never get the cake but I love the strawberries. I get them 3-4x. I also ordered a non voyage cake and lived it on my lady cruise. So I plan to order an anniversary one too. I love the one with strawberry filling.

One person in our group has ask the question if he can take his backpack inside the Bacardi Rum Factory.

I googled and have been unable to find any information about it.

Also did a search on CC no answer here either, that I could find anyway.

Some helpful tips I learned is that cameras are a no, no for the most part

and where to find the taxi to take us from the ferry to the factory.

Can anyone answer this for us?

    Thanking you in advance.

Yes it's not the real factory it's a tour inside a museum of sorts. It's really interesting. DH and I did it on our own. Just bought the .25 or .50 ferry ticket. But when we got off the ferry it was overwhelming as it's mainly Puerto Ricans on the ferry, but eventually when you get to the parking lot someone is yelling for Barcardi Tour groups. It was very easy and enjoyable.

  7. Barrachina is great. Their mofongo is amazing. Also they're the home of the piña colada but their mojitos are awesome as well. We ate at amazing place while in SJ you'll love the food there.

  8. On my wedding cruise many of my family members bought pics of my hubby and I straight from the picture place. Many of them I didn't even get a chance to purchase and I was a bit upset. But my mom and a couple others made copies for me so I ended up getting them free lol.
