Can go to City of Arts and Science. Science Museum and Oceanographic (aquarium) are open. Also Fallas museum is open. It's one of a kind collection of floats from the winners of yearly Fallas festival. This area is beautiful with park, water and walking trail. Also El Saler mall is open on Sunday. Has few restaurants open for lunch

Lots of them on ebay. Paste "Россия вперед" in search box

Prices fluctuate all the time; some people buy, some cancel. Just checked voyages-sncf.com, now they have 139 euro tixs for 24/6. But from my experience cheap ones don't reappear so buying as soon as they come out is a good strategy. Same true for Renfe and Trenitalia.

Stop #7 (near Cathedral) will be the closest, about 5 min http://www.city-sightseeing.com/documents/tours/1379.pdf Walk from port may be 10 min. Note that HO-HO goes on the perimeter of old city. One of reasons that streets are too narrow for big bus.

Can try rentacarprima.com but I don't think they open very early, probably 8:30

Here is link to train schedule http://goo.gl/0zT9iP

Your friend can also take ATVO airport bus to Piazzale Roma and store luggage there http://goo.gl/jENBkU Location open from 6am to 10pm daily

They go on sale 120 days forward; that is when the best prices are. I've seen them as low as 49. Same concept as air tickets when some percentage is available on lowest price then same seat is sold for more and keep going up. UBER surge pricing model in action.
-
I buy RENFE tickets quite often. Just keep checking when your date shows up and buy right away. I don't have a RENFE id and have no trouble with payment on Spanish page but English one may reject CC from time to time. Also they ask for passport # which is completely optional and no one checks it. Final AVE ticket doesn't have names but has assigned seats.

There is no issue buying in person at any major train station (Oriente or St.Applonia). Sometimes online pricing is cheaper for certain departures. Bus ticket can be bought just prior to departure; same price. Also there is another company that goes from Oriente http://www.renex.pt/ The other bus station Sete Rios is near Zoo metro (Jardim Zoologico)

Can check all options and buy on Austrian rail site https://www.oebb.at/en/
-
Unlike most other national rail sites cp.pt needs user id/password in order to purchase ticket. Also try to use Portuguese site and pay with PayPal in case CC gets rejected. There is a possibility that tickets for certain departures are not sold online but sold for others for the same day. Also there lots of buses that run daily; they are slightly slower than express trains http://www.rede-expressos.pt/ but quite comfortable.

There is metro http://goo.gl/qQEWve running to airport now so its possible to get to Drassanes for 4.5€ pp and take port shuttle from there (2€ pp) http://goo.gl/oYwlTI So for party of 4 its 26€. Taxi is 39€ including all supplements & luggage. Not that much more and way faster and convenient.

Look at aggregator sites like kayak or hipmunk; you'll get a consolidated view for your dates. IMO your best option is MIA with one stop; cheaper options may be TAP (via Lisbon) and Iberia (via Madrid)

Here is good link for all storage facilities http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/transport/baggage-storage-barcelona.html
If you are coming from the airport there is direct train to Sants train station where you can leave the stuff. Cab from Sants to port is about 20 min. Can also ask RCL if they can store suitcase for you. If I remember MSC offered to store any inadmissible alcohol for free till the end of the cruise. They gave claim ticket and delivered to the cabin on the last night.

The only sure way to know what bank will charge is to check on http://www.oanda.com/currency/historical-rates/ (click on Table tab) after you come back home. What you refer to buy and sell rates is the markup from that interbank rate for the day. I am TD customer and can tell you that ATM "rate" is not that great on Euro but much better on USD (1% from interbank).
The F/X free CC that you are referring to will probably give the best exchange but again check on oanda site.

Minimum that I found in Aug 2016 is 3 days, there is 2 day in Sep. Can always check with sites like cruise. com that have month and duration filters.
Also there are small pleasure boats on lakes like Como and Garda mostly for day trips.

Taxis in Valencia are inexpensive; shouldn't be much more than shuttle if its not available. Time to Ayuntamiento is around 20 min, City of Science/Oceanarium - 10 min. Also city bus #4 goes to centre. Single fare-1.5€, 10 trip Bonobus card - 8€
-
I would do the train. Costs & timing compared to Easyjet is somewhat comparable and this particular train is very comfortable. Now voyages-sncf.com has 69€ fare for Jun 3 in second class. 20 min taxi ride from Sants to dock is may be another 20-22€
-
According to http://www.worldtaximeter.com/ taxi fare is between 26 to 30€. Hotel is located on Via Laietana, 61, near Plaza Catalunya

Can see hotels here https://goo.gl/HFjx44 Factory is marked by gray circle (Tavernes Blanques)

Yes here is; some info http://andhereweare.net/2015/07/a-visit-to-cadiz-central-market.html/
IMO there are better central markets in Spain (Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia to name some) than in Cadiz but its still worth visiting
