Thanx - that eases my mind a little - Roberts has a great reputation but it is nice to hear it from someone directly. We are flying United direct to Washington Dulles at 3:45pm. How was your flights - i heard that they do not feed you.

Thank you very much for your trip report - had a great time reading it and looking at the pictures. We are also taking the 10:39 Roberts shuttle to the airport - how was the transfer - we have a 3:45 flight - is there anything to do and/or eat at the airport?
Thanx

Did you go to Volcano National Park - if you are waiting to write about that day I can wait LOL - did you have any trouble getting rental cars at any of the ports?
Thanx

I just found this forum - are there cruise lines that have stops that would allow me to take a day if two for a short safari. At this point I do not care about time of year.
Thanx

I realize that the Pride of America has two "free" dining rooms (Skyline and Liberty). Traditionally does one of the rooms have more children and the other more couples/adults or does it solely depend on your particular cruise.

We are on the POA in May. Does NCL sponsor a M&G and, if not, what is a good spot for an informal M&G?
Thanx

I have stayed overnight in Egypt and Israel and as long as you tell the ship authorities you should be good. Have you looked at tripadvisor for a hotel - anything that makes it easier for you

Thanx to everyone for their thoughts - I did check and it was not worth changing the reservation.

Thanks for the quick reply - unfortunately my inside cabin is the only price drop and not willing to pay another $1500 to move to an outside cabin.

I am booked on the Summit for Feb 1, 2014 and, obviously, we are beyond final payment. I booked the cruise using my military discount but I just noticed that the price has dropped for cruisers over 55.
Do you think I could get either an adjustment or OBC for the price drop? The difference is about $100 per person.
Thanx

We are on the Summit arriving on Sunday, Feb 2, 2014. Is there anything to do near the port that does not involve a beach?

We are on the Summit Feb 1-8. I am now scheduled on a 4:00pm flight home but rethinking of changing to the 1:00pm flight. The ship is scheduled to arrive at 6:00am but who knows when we would get off the ship.
Thoughts would be appreciated if I should change - we are the kind of people who do not want to be stressed after a nice cruise. Both flights are non-stop so that is not a factor.
Thanx

Unfortunately they said since it was more than a week past final payment there was nothing they could do so we will just have a great cruise earlier.
Thanx for replying

We are booked on the Summit leaving from San Juan in Feb. We are thinking of changing to March15.
Do you think Celebrity will allow me to change without a penalty but just charge me the going cost?
Just looking for insight before I call.
thanx

We are on the Celebrity Summit in St. Thomas in February and would like to visit St. John as we have never been. We can take the ship ferry and then have 4 1/2 hours on St. John.
Our problem is that we do not snorkel or want to spend hours on the beach. What other things can we do such as walking around the ferry area or visiting historical sites?
Thanx

Thanx - I put this on the NCL board as well hoping that I can get a response.

We are a couple 65ish and have cruised quite a bit. We would like to take the POA in May 2014 but money is a concern. We are trying to justify an inside cabin as opposed to an OV but the pictures for the inside show the king bed and two bunk beds in the walls next to the beds. We did that configuration a long time ago and really did not like it.
Are all of inside cabins configured that way or are there other inside cabins for consideration?
Thank you
